I had to vote for the DS Lite, it deserves honors. I like the Macbook Pros, but I don’t own one.
Just voted three times. Once using Safari, once using IE, and once using Firefox. If only one could do the same in the real elections …

As for the Time Gadget of the Year Poll, is this the first poll that MDN hasn’t destroyed? Apple is still a DISTANT 2nd (and 3rd). MDN readers are losing their touch.

love my apple products, but of that list, my vote goes to the DS lite. great little handheld with lots of innovative games (and to respond to the guy a few posts up, i’m 25, so yeah, people over 15 know about it).
i suppose the wii doesn’t count as a “gadget”, otherwise i imagine it would top the list.

Getting enough Lemmings to vote for the MacBook Pro doesn’t make it the best gadget. As others have pointed out, its really not even a “gadget.”
Shaun, who cares if it’s not a gadget.. Getting the MBP on the cover of Time will be great publicity for the MBP.
You can’t blame MDN for Time listing the MBP as a gadget. What defines what is and what isn’t one anyways?
