The Beeb posts ‘How much do you know about Apple’ quiz in honor of Apple’s 30th birthday

The BBC’s web site features a 10-question multiple choice quiz, “How much do you know about Apple?”

Thirty years after it was founded on 1 April 1976, Apple Computer has grown from a tiny start-up to a household name and cultural icon. But how much do you really know about Apple?

Take the quiz here.

[Thanks to MacDailyNews Reader “Paul” for the heads up.]

MacDailyNews Note: For the record, we took the quiz and got a perfect score — it’s not that hard (and we probably should be doing pretty well on Apple quizzes regardless of their degree of difficulty, right?) The Beeb proclaimed, “You got 10 right! You live and breathe Apple, eagerly waiting for the latest shiny gadget to come out of California.” The Beeb’s automated quiz-master obviously knows us quite well.

  1. I missed the original logo, although I remembered as soon as I got it wrong, and I said to myself, “Oh yeah… I remember now.”

I also chose the iPod as US Magazine’s ‘Greatest Gadget of all Time.’

The iMac does make sense in retrospect though, since it did pull Apple from the clutches of the dark ages.

  2. 8/10 as most average Mac heads… most tricky questions were the first original  logo & the all time gadget… Well now i’ll continue to “live and breathe Apple” and yes I’m so eagerly “waiting for the latest shiny gadget to come out of California”. Not only gadge tho, infact just finish updating to 10.4.6 today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY & LONG LIVE !
