“For years, Windows PC owners have been able to connect to an iPod. Now they can have a computer that looks like the iconic digital music player. Logisys Computer this week added the ePod Soho case to its lineup of unusual PC shells. The white PC case has several ‘buttons’ resembling those found on the scroll wheel of an Apple Computer iPod, as well as a blue LED light that gives the case a constant backlit glow,” Ina Fried reports for CNET News.
“The ePod is a shell into which individuals or custom PC makers would need to add a processor, motherboard, hard drive and other components,” Fried reports. “The ePod is currently shown on Logisys’s Web site, but it is not yet available through any retailers. A Logisys representative said the company has not had any communications with Apple.”

Gross.
That is the stupidest PC case that I have ever seen. This is what passes for innovation in the PC/Windows world.
Talk about making a sow’s ear out of a silk purse…
gag me with a spoon
I’m sp… sp… sp… speechless!
Laugh or cry? I can’t decide…
So, THIS is what passes for “design” in the PeeSea dungeon?
That’s absolutely pathetic.
shes a bit of an old dog really
Am I the only one that thinks it doesn’t look anything like an iPod?
That is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen in my life.
If I want a computer that looks like an iPod (which I NEVER do), I’ll wait until Apple makes one.
Until that, then this is crap.
That’s uglier than a Dell box..
Lame. Nice try but it’s still a big ugly old pc box.
First of all, it doesn’t even look remotely like an iPod. It’s got a large circular shape on the front, that’s where the similarites end other than the color.
And while we are on the subject of the large circular area, its a good time to point out why Apple excels in design and other companies don’t. Apple doesn’t add arbitrary elements to their designs, which is exactly what this element is.
Frankly, if we did go as far as to say that it was similar to the iPod then it follows suit with everything else the PC industry does. Cheap crappy looking knock-off.
Kevin, look at the front. Bottom half.
Disregard everything else.
Looks like the iPod, but that’s the only thing that does, and it’s a cheap imitation.
filled with microshite, who would want a blue led lit toilet
It HAS come to this…Apple gives Windows users the iPod and this is how the Windows community repays Apple.
PCathetic
How long before Apple’s lawyer force them to change the name?
Putting lipstick on a pig makes it …, er, a pig.
and furthermore, why is it that every hack company thinks that slapping blue LED’s all over things is good design.
I suppose though they are marketing this to the same crowd that think putting neon light under your car looks cool too.
Why is it that NOBODY can design cases/computers but Apple? It really isn’t that hard, but still, everyone makes garbage. Sometimes when I see things like this I literally thank God for Apple, or we’d all live in ugly-ville… geez…
It’s for people who think that:
Reality TV breaks new ground,
Country music is innovative,
Large portions are the sign of a good meal,
Leno is funnier than Letterman.
In short…it’s for the tasteless majority. This machine will do well.

That will look right purty in my new doublewide. yep!
It doesn’t even begin to look like an iPod.
Beautiful!
NOT.
LOL!
Amazing how crap some computer design is still these days!
It lives up to the images of windows pcs design being a pos!
hehe – that thing is butt ugly!
If only they could make it bigger…
Any fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It take a touch of genius and a lot of courage – to move in the opposite direction.
