Trainz railroad simulator seeking Apple Macintosh beta testers

“Auran, the developers of Trainz, a railroad simulator, are seeking beta testers to help them shake the bugs out of a forthcoming Mac version. ‘We are looking for committed people with the right stuff to test, test and test some more,’ said a company spokesperson in the Trainz discussion forum. Minimum system requirements for the game call for a 1GHz or faster processor, 32MB VRAM, 512MB RAM and 1024 x 768 screen resolution,” Peter Cohen reports for Macworld.

  1. C’mon guys! The PC users in the Trainz forums are asking where are all the MacHeads?? Are we up to the challenge?

Heck, I submitted my request to beta test. If a girl can do it, so can you.

The challenge is on. They’re waiting for you.

  2. First post? Not possible. Must be somebody else awake in the rest of the Mac World.

    MDN MW: act

    Sometimes I don’t think these MWs are coincidences. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”LOL” style=”border:0;” />

  3. Obviously there are some deprived people who haven’t experienced railroading or riding on a train and such.
I’ve submitted my helpdesk ticket to help beta test. I’ve been waiting for this oportunity and this game. It’s about time a good train sim came to the Mac since there really hasn’t been one period.
I think my new Dualcore 20″ iMac would be a perfect test machine for a brand new game for compatability on the latest hardware.
