nice…now that the “experts” told us – Apple looks promising after all.
strange, no news about Samsung’s DRAM price-fixing case. They lost and now have to pay $300mil. This makes the Nano a pretty pricey birth, doesn’t it?
And so much for the 10% AAPL stock dip on Tuesday after hours. The stock has already recovered the entire loss and then some…
I’m so relieved! Now all is well with the world since Munster and Neff have spoken. Shaw Wu, where are you?
MW: music. Its all about the music.
$300 million is a drop in the bucket to a company like Apple. They only have $8+ Billion in cash reserves ya know. Besides, it’s Samsung paying the fine, not Apple.
im assuming no one actually have the new ipod video. and we have only seen it on tv . does the picture really look that good or are they just doing a bit of superimposing?
it is that good. We had few around yesterday for us to see.
Give Piper Jaffray credit. They had AAPL at $50.00 when it was selling for about $30. They were the first major brokerage firm to get it right, I think
Piper Jaffray is Piper Laurie’s niece and she has the thing for Steve.
Wait, who has to pay the $300M? Isn’t it Samsung, not Apple? If Apple got Samsung to fix their prices for the iPod and Samsung pays the fine, who’s complaining?
didn’t anyone notice the biggest news of the conference call? apple is predicting 4,7 billion revenue the next quarter. where is that additional billion coming from. something big still coming this quarter?
magic word “number” as in “amazing numbers, mr. jobs”
“where is that additional billion coming from”
Um.. Its called the Holiday shopping season.
Samsung was found coluding with other manufacturers for fixing the price of DRAM, not flash RAM. This case has nothing to do with Apple’s deal with them at all.
The price fixing that Samsung and others were found guilty of occurred from 1999 – 2002.
As others have stated, it has nothing to do with the Nano.
MW: together. As in together we’ll determine the market price.
