Several Apple customers have written to the firm complaining of the use of such a seemingly controversial figure as Mr. Carter. Meanwhile, MacDailyNews (http://www.macdailynews.com), a Web site that follows Apple-related news, posted a note this week saying it received at least 40 e-mails from readers saying Mr. Carter ‘doesn’t belong’ in Think Different because he was awarded the Nobel Prize as a ‘slap in the face’ to Mr. Bush,” writes the Wall Street Journal.
