I saw them setting up that window on my lunch hour the other week. It's neat but not really all that impressive from a merchandising standpoint.

Same thing at the new Apple Store in Dallas Northpark Center - was on display at the March 4 Grand Opening. Made some heads turn there, too.

My guess is that upon sighting a butt-ugly HiFi in the store, a terrified iMac crashed through the window like a bat out of hell, out the mall, and down the street shrieking at the top of its lungs. The HiFi has no business having an Apple logo on it.

It is more like the minute they learned of the ridiculously short battery life of the new laptops he commited windowcide.

Yea, they had that setup at the Apple store in South Park mall in Charlotte, NC...

And some a-hole was blaring Red Hot Chili Peppers out of one of those things....needless to say it was pretty loud.

that thing is ugly and expensive and not practical

but it sounds great!

Or maybe now that they're on intels, we can really see that OSX is like broken Windows...

Actually that's a REAL broken window, somebody took their iPod HiFi home, found out it sounded like Krapp, tried to return it and Apple refused.
