Apple today released iCloud for Windows 4.0.
iCloud keeps your mail, documents, contacts and calendars up-to-date between your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac and Windows PC.
With iCloud Drive, you can store any file in iCloud. Simply drag your documents into iCloud Drive folder on your PC and access them at any time, on any device*. Learn more about iCloud Drive.
iCloud Photo Sharing lets you share photos and videos with just the people you choose, and invite friends to add their own photos, videos and comments. My Photo Stream automatically downloads the most recent photos from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to your PC. Learn more about iCloud Photos.
iCloud also keeps your Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Google Chrome bookmarks on Windows in sync with your Safari bookmarks.

Now my life is complete.
There’s still people using Windows 4.0? Enough to warrant Apple making an investment into bringing iCloud to them? Does Windows 4.0 even know what the internet is?
/s
Come on Apple, forget for now, the strong hold users to Windows. Please put more effort into improving the Mac titles for Mac users. Like, iTunes for one. OSX 10.11 isn’t perfect either.
There was. It was called Windows 95 though.
There was no Windows 4.0. There was windows 95 and windows NT 4.0 but there was no windows 4.0.
I wish Apple wouldn’t do this.
Is it some sort of agreement or law?
With the current state of Apple sales and the number of people who have already converted – does Apple really need to be building for Android and Windows?
Can’t we just let those people decide eventually, perhaps once Microsoft is no longer… it seems sooner then expected.
Microsoft, with its new leadership, is revitalizing. They are releasing newer, better products and services. Better being relative, of course.
Relative sure. Yet, any effort to the Windows side is meant to persuade them over to OSX or IOS – however sometimes for them good enough is great… and getting Apple iCloud – and its services will either be uninteresting for them or a huge bonus to stay on the platform. It convinces them their is still value in what they use.

Interesting how they mention Internet Explorer, but not Edge. What is Microsoft’s browser called on Windows 10? I’m so confused with technology these days, my head is going to explode!
You are correct, its called Edge – yet so is Adobe’s modern html5 animation web app – called Edge.
Hahaha – they will cause confusing in deed. Its gonna be great.
Are you sure you don’t mean iCloud for windows 5? 4.1 has been out for a while……
My thoughts exactly.
Installing it now with my Quad Core HP Pavilion. Windows 8 (latest update)….waiting….waiting….waiting…oops now it says I have Updates from MS and will need to download those…waiting….waiting….waiting…oh now it needs to restart…ok…restarts…waiting….waiting…waiting…restarted…oh, now its ready to do iCloud….nope…more windows update…ok…waiting…waiting…waiting…forget it. I’ll come back later when I feel sitting around for the next 2 hours. lol
Their biggest secret is the Ubuntu version slated for next year.
