Dump that Android phone and upgrade to a real iPhone

“There’s never been a better time to switch to iPhone,” Rene Ritchie writes for iMore. “Whether you’re tempted for yourself or looking to help the Android user in your life, the all-new, all-better iPhone 6 and iPhone-6-plus make the move more compelling than ever — especially when you consider Touch ID and Apple Pay.”

“While competitors were struggling to get their first generation 64-bit chipsets out the door, Apple was already shipping their second. With two billion transistors, it still managed to be 50% more efficient, making it faster but also better on battery life,” Ritchie writes. “One of the most important things that Apple’s 64-bit processors allowed for was Touch ID, a biometric fingerprint identify sensor… Security is often said to be at war with convenience. Touch ID, for the first time, gives you both.”

“Here’s what one of our readers, Rainforrest had to say: ‘Sold my HTC One M8 on ebay after I got my iPhone 6 Plus. Touch ID and Apple Pay are really nice and apps are of better quality on iOS than on Android,'” Ritchie writes. “You can get an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 not only with an incredibly fast Apple A8 processor, but with Touch ID and Apple Pay as well. And those are just two of the benefits of switching to iPhone.”

  1. And for the person with minimal funds, buy a used iPhone 4 or 5 and be happy until you can buy up. If you are lucky, you might even get a free older iPhone by moving to another carrier.

    Get creative.

  2. …and the gap is only going to widen. Can you imagine what the A10 or 15 processors are going to yield? Many folks just don’t get the fact that Apple designs the OS and the Hardware but ESPECIALLY the chip…only way the competition catches them is if the Gov’t intervenes. No one else does that. Takes years to build competency in all five key areas (the other two are customer support and marketing). Apple really is a beast like no other!
