DevDay for iPhone event in London happens April 26th

Blowout Specials ends 2/28DevDay for iPhone is a dedicated interactive one day conference for software developers and business professionals who want to learn how to successfully build and market iPhone applications. DevDay for iPhone will take place at Dexter House in London, UK April 26, 2010.

Key speakers at DevDay for iPhone include Raven Zachary and Daniel Steinberg, experts in the field of iPhone application development and distribution. Raven Zachary, President of Small Society, who directed the Obama ’08 iPhone application for the Obama Campaign will provide the keynote presentation. Daniel Steinberg is the editor for the new series of Mac Developer titles and the author of “Cocoa Programming, A Quick-Start Guide for Developers” by Pragmatic Programmers will present on the latest in iPhone application development with a deep dive into Core Animation and a workshop on developing applications for the recently announced iPad (subject to the release of the current NDA on the iPad SDK by Apple).

In addition, the creators behind iPhone applications including Stanza, Deutsche Bank, Tag Heuer and Starbucks share their experiences of bringing iPhone applications to market.

Raven Zachary is President of Small Society, working with big brands, established companies, investors, and startups on iPhone strategy and product development. Zachary has worked with companies such as Whole Foods Market, Zipcar, Clif Bar, and Air New Zealand on iPhone application initiatives. He is the founder of iPhoneDevCamp, a not-forprofit iPhone developer conference. Zachary is also a Contributing Analyst with The 451 Group, an IT industry analyst firm and works closely with O’Reilly Media on iPhone and mobile technology related events and coverage.

Daniel Steinberg is a podcaster, author, editor, trainer, and developer at Dim Sum Thinking. He writes feature articles for Apple’s ADC web site and is a regular contributor to Mac Devcenter. He has presented at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference, MacWorld, MacHack and other Mac developer conferences. Daniel has produced podcasts for Apple featuring the work of developers and scientists working on the platform. He has coauthored books on Apple’s Bonjour technology as well as on Java Programming and using Extreme Programming in Software Engineering classes.
