Apple is set to launch its annual Veterans Day Activity Challenge for Apple Watch users on November 11, 2026.
The one-day challenge is straightforward: complete any workout lasting 11 minutes or more on Veterans Day (Wednesday, November 11th). Users can track the session with Apple’s built-in Workout app or any third-party app that records workouts to the Health app.
Those who finish the challenge will earn a limited-time Activity award in the Fitness app on iPhone, plus a pack of animated stickers for use in Messages and FaceTime.
Apple has run a similar Veterans Day challenge for years as a way to honor Americans who have served in the military while encouraging fitness habits. The requirement has stayed consistent — an 11-minute workout tied to the 11th of the month — and it works with any compatible Apple Watch and iPhone pairing.
Participants should expect an official notification on their Apple Watch in the days leading up to November 11th. The challenge is open to any Apple Watch owner who completes a qualifying workout that day; it is not limited to veterans.
This fits Apple’s broader pattern of marking U.S. holidays with Activity Challenges that deliver digital awards and stickers while spotlighting features in the Fitness and Workout apps. In past years the company has also highlighted related content in the App Store, Apple TV app, Books, and Fitness+.
MacDailyNews Take: To join: Wear a paired Apple Watch, start a workout of at least 11 minutes on November 11th using the Workout app or a Health-compatible app, and finish the session. The award and stickers should appear in the Fitness app once the workout syncs. The challenge is a simple, accessible way for Apple Watch users to mark the holiday while adding a small fitness goal to the day.
