Right after Apple unveiled its new HomeView smart display, Amazon has rolled out the first pre-order discounts on the device. The Space Gray and Starlight versions of the tabletop model are now listed at $289.99, down from the standard $299 price.

Apple introduced HomeView on October 13, 2026, as a central home hub combining a 7-inch square Liquid Retina display, built-in speakers, and Siri AI. Key features include facial recognition for up to six users (each getting a personalized experience with their own apps and widgets), a Center Stage camera for FaceTime, support for Apple Home and Matter accessories, and the ability to show camera feeds or other information at a glance. The tabletop model pairs the display with a domed speaker base via a tilting stainless steel hinge; a separate wall-mounted version is also available. Both models launch at $299, with first deliveries expected on November 13.

HomeView is available in four beautiful colors: silver, starlight, rose pink, and space gray.

The Amazon discount applies only to the Space Gray and Starlight tabletop units so far. Other colors (Silver and Rose Pink) and the wall-mounted edition remain at full price, and no other major retailers have matched the markdown as of this writing. Delivery estimates on Amazon still point to the November 13th launch window. Because Apple is not offering trade-ins on the new product category, the modest savings currently makes Amazon the lowest-priced pre-order option for those two finishes.

While the cut is small, it marks the earliest deal on HomeView and could expand as the November 13th release approaches.
