The series stars (in order of appearance) Yara Shahidi, Kit Harington, Daveed Diggs, Matthew Rhys, Heather Graham, Sienna Miller, Tahar Rahim, Meryl Streep, David Schwimmer, Neska Rose, Judd Hirsch, Cherry Jones, Edward Norton, Michael Gandolfini, Indira Varma, Diane Lane, Adarsh Gourav, Gaz Choudhry, Keri Russell, Gemma Chan, Marion Cotillard, Forest Whitaker, Hari Nef, Eiza González, Tobey Maguire, Ben Harper, Murray Bartlett and MaameYaa Boafo.
“Extrapolations” is executive produced by Burns, Ellenberg, Gregory Jacobs, Dorothy Fortenberry and Media Res’ Lindsey Springer. The propaganda is strong with “Extrapolations.”
Hint to those of you on the left side of the I.Q. bell curve (Democrats):
“Climate Change” is, and has always been, a Robin Hood scam to take from the rich and redistribute to the poor.
Hey, at least this fictional doomsday fantasy doesn’t include zombies (except for its audience, of course).
As always, First Then backs up his factual presentations with hard evidence: in this case of woke-tard fear-mongering and manipulation by the yellow journalism pros.
Girl, I see you still grumpy. Meow, Kitty Kitty. Hope you feel better soon.
The biggest scam in history. A never ending guilt trip to placate the population into fascist mandates and egregious taxation in the name of….
They have trouble predicting tomorrow’s weather…but apparently know exactly what 100 years will bring? NONE of these bold predictions ever come to pass. Spreading fear and panic isn’t helping.
Will that be a global WARMING premier, or just a regular premier?
Sigh. Millennials running (at least part of) Apple: we are really, really tired of and over you. For real. I would say let Disney be your object lesson, but since you don’t listen to anyone that isn’t you, what’s the point?
Some on this site have trouble accepting that scientific findings from 50 years ago might have been revised and updated with new data and new theories. It would be interesting to see the CURRENT findings of the scientists quoted in the doomsday stories back them. It might be far more instructive.
But if I posted articles from the early 1970s that discounted the usefulness of personal computers … would you somehow take them seriously today? Probably not.
Meanwhile, I love a good science fiction story. At the very least, this has a wonderful cast. I can only hope the writing and directing will be as strong.
Did they purchase carbon offsets to lower the emissions of this production?
Did the stars all walk or ride bikes to work?
Did they donate a large portion of the salaries to Al Gore?
Does anybody that actually works on these projects REALLY believe (or understand…) manmade climate change? Or is it just a box to check on their Hollywood resumes….?
Gawd…make it stop!
Can’t wait to not watch it
Only Apple sees the internal numbers. They know (or will find out) which shows, series, specials and movies are popular and which aren’t. The numbers don’t / won’t lie. Whatever those “numbers” may be, I suspect that Apple will continue to produce more and more woke content. They probably view woke content as some sort of social responsibility or woke “halo” projects. Their money… they may do as they like… until shareholders take a peek at those inside numbers
Like all entertainment companies, Apple wants to produce content that their customers watch. It’s that simple. Not every programming decision has a political motivation. Most of what the right perceives as “woke” — like featuring LGBT characters and casting minority actors in leading roles — simply reflects real-world diversity. And most viewers don’t have a problem
And it’s not like Hollywood doesn’t produce a range of shows to appeal to all constituencies… Are “Yellowstone” (and its spin-offs) too “woke”? Are “Law & Order” (FBI) and the half-dozen other cop-friendly shows from producer Dick Wolf too liberal for you? God, I hope not…
I keep asking 3 simple questions – nobody answers – well except snark
1. How do you measure ‘climate change’?
2. Where is it at?
3. Where should it be?
You pretend those are simple questions when you demand absolute answers. In this case, the answers are relative and the tradeoffs (current prosperity versus long term health) involve ethics. Ethics that the selfish anti-science crowd clearly doesn’t have.
To a person with moderate ethical code, he will leave a place in as good or better shape when he leaves. Is that agreed? Now look at the state of pollution and the availability of arable land today versus pre-industrial state. Tell us how trashing the planet for short-term wealth is in any way ethical. What measures of pollution affect the most people for the longest time into the future?
That’s why it is the perfect scam. It’s impossible to quantify.
