Apple today released iOS 14.4.1 and iPadOS 14.4.1 which contains security updates for iPhone 6s and later, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation).

• Impact: Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution
• Description: A memory corruption issue was addressed with improved validation.
• CVE-2021-1844: Clément Lecigne of Google’s Threat Analysis Group, Alison Huffman of Microsoft Browser Vulnerability Research

  1. And again it only download over wi-fi. There’s no reason for this. The update is 156.9M. I’ve got an app update that’s 240.8M, and that’ll install over cellular. Come on, Apple, get a clue. For some of us, our phones ARE our broadband.

  2. Really hope this makes my iPad Pro 10.5″ more “responsive”. I find it lags on some webpages (doesn’t register scroll-gesture) and misses keystrokes typing sometimes. Is it just my iPad ?

    And OMG Siri seems absolutely deaf on my Pro 10.5. Its absurd the mistakes it makes.
