“Apple Inc CEO Tim Cook has joined a chorus of business leaders who have voiced their opposition to President Donald Trump after he blamed white nationalists and anti-racism activists equally for violence in Virginia over the weekend,” Brendan O’Brien reports for Reuters.
“‘I disagree with the president and others who believe that there is a moral equivalence between white supremacists and Nazis, and those who oppose them by standing up for human rights. Equating the two runs counter to our ideals as Americans,’ Cook wrote in a note late on Wednesday to employees, according to technology news website Recode,” O’Brien reports. “Cook also said in the letter that Apple will donate $1 million a piece to the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League and will match two-for-one their donations to the organizations and other human rights groups until Sept. 30.”
“‘Regardless of your political views, we must all stand together on this one point — that we are all equal,” O’Brien reports. “As a company, through our actions, our products and our voice, we will always work to ensure that everyone is treated equally and with respect,’ Cook wrote.”

MacDailyNews Note: Cook’s full message to Apple employees:
Team,
Like so many of you, equality is at the core of my beliefs and values. The events of the past several days have been deeply troubling for me, and I’ve heard from many people at Apple who are saddened, outraged or confused.
What occurred in Charlottesville has no place in our country. Hate is a cancer, and left unchecked it destroys everything in its path. Its scars last generations. History has taught us this time and time again, both in the United States and countries around the world.
We must not witness or permit such hate and bigotry in our country, and we must be unequivocal about it. This is not about the left or the right, conservative or liberal. It is about human decency and morality. I disagree with the president and others who believe that there is a moral equivalence between white supremacists and Nazis, and those who oppose them by standing up for human rights. Equating the two runs counter to our ideals as Americans.
Regardless of your political views, we must all stand together on this one point — that we are all equal. As a company, through our actions, our products and our voice, we will always work to ensure that everyone is treated equally and with respect.
I believe Apple has led by example, and we’re going to keep doing that. We have always welcomed people from every walk of life to our stores around the world and showed them that Apple is inclusive of everyone. We empower people to share their views and express themselves through our products.
In the wake of the tragic and repulsive events in Charlottesville, we are stepping up to help organizations who work to rid our country of hate. Apple will be making contributions of $1 million each to the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League. We will also match two-for-one our employees’ donations to these and several other human rights groups, between now and September 30.
In the coming days, iTunes will offer users an easy way to join us in directly supporting the work of the SPLC.
Dr. Martin Luther King said, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter.” So, we will continue to speak up. These have been dark days, but I remain as optimistic as ever that the future is bright. Apple can and will play an important role in bringing about positive change.
Best,

Apple CEO Tim Cook condemns Charlottesville mayhem, says ‘Violence and racism have no place in America’ – August 13, 2017
I personally know an historian who marched that day in Charlottesville support of not attempting to paper over history wrong headedly.
He was punched in the face and left bloodied on the ground by leftist Antifa thugs.
Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.
― George Orwell, 1984
That’s what President Trump means and he is right.
Cook believes in “equality for all,” unless you’re against renaming streets and destroying statues in order to make yourself feel better. If you are a historian who wants to preserve history, according to Tim Cook, you are a cancer.
That’s what Tim Cook means and he is wrong.
Your historian misses the point, as do you clearly.
Yours, and others attempts to make this about something else are just that. Attempts. They’re not working.

Oh dear… You (and many others) actually completely missed the joke! The original source to that titbit is a satirical article at Ourlandofthefree.com.
Crickets from Botty The Moron… HA! Big surprise.
I posted a Snopes link refuting that BS and, of course, MDN deleted it.
Snopes….THE source for revisionist history.
Try reading, you delusional shitbag.
Try getting into the sheep pen, you mindless vacuum.
It’s a new day bottwipe. Did you like the story about juvenile detention? I told it just for you.
We would take laundry tubs, probably 200 gallons and fill them with water in the shower room. It was great. Our own private spa.
Elite prisoners. Before I left, bottwipe. They made a video about the aide corps and…. drumroll….. i was videod graduating from the program… the CYA Promotional Movie has me in it.
HAHA… I swear to God. I swear on my mother so you know I am serious.
Anyway bottwipe… I was high on some of that hybrid shit and got to thinking about life. Thinking about how I walked out of the O. H. Close School for Boys gates, numerous times until we got it just right.
Weird life.
Maybe I should tell you about standing in the dark in a darkened room behind one way glass watching responses from test subjects being recorded on the computers and network stuff that I sold them. Those wacky students at the U of W. Those purchasing agents liked me too. All the school districts in the puget sound… That story. or
In the dark at Control Data. Awesome fucking sight. Talking about Apple IIe’s as terminals on a super computer or two.

The Revised First Amendment According To Left:
I.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof unless you’re Antifa thugs; or abridging the freedom of speech unless you’re Antifa thugs, or of the press unless you’re Antifa thugs; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble unless you’re Antifa thugs, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances unless you’re Antifa thugs.”
I sincerely hope this helps clarify the Democrat Party’s current position on the First Amendment.
The Face of the Democrat Party:
Stlttoday.com reported: Missouri state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal, D-University City, posted a comment in a Facebook conversation Thursday morning saying she hoped President Donald Trump will be assassinated.
The comment has since been removed. But Chappelle-Nadal confirmed to the Post-Dispatch that she had written it in response to another commenter before deleting it.
“I didn’t mean what I put up. Absolutely not. I was very frustrated,” Chappelle-Nadal told the newspaper. “Things have got to change.”
keep scraping to justify your untenable position. Keep scraping the bottom of that barrel.
Orwellian indeed:
“Black Lives Matter” Activists want to Criminalize Confederate Imagery
Outlawing all Confederate flags, symbols, statues, and groups would not only be indescribably impractical — taking into account the existence of battlefield monuments, graves, Civil War re-enactors, every single souvenir shop within a 10-mile radius of Gettysburg, historical computer games, and Lynyrd Skynyrd albums — it would also be illegal.
“Even the most liberal Supreme Court justice knows that the remedy to hateful or offensive speech is opposing speech,” Eddie Zipperer, an assistant professor of political science at Georgia Military College, told LifeZette. “This would be a blatant violation of the First Amendment.”
The full report is here.
How does President Trump recognizing that the Antfia Leftist Radicals showed up prepared for — and therefore bear some responsibility for — violent confrontation equate to support for White Supremacists? It doesn’t.
Democrats want, and the media have given them, a complete pass for a full year of left-wing violence. What total effing hypocrites!
I read Trump’s tweets and watched his news conference.
Oh, yeah, and he wasn’t mocking the disabled reporter, either. Again, Fake News.
Judge for yourself. It’s what I try to do.

Extremists aren’t welcome in our society…left or right. What is wrong in standing behind that? Why does the left (antifa fascists or communists) get a pass for violence they were involved in? Only the right can be racists or radicals it appears to the MSM.
Sometimes — not in the U.S. mainstream media, but in other places — truth rears its beautiful head:
Apple’s CEO Sends out another Preachy Memo to Calm down Snowflake Employees — Patently Apple, August 17, 2017
No one can provide anything that points to Trump being racist. 30+ years in public eye. 10 years on TV. Only in past 5 months…
I would like to hear Pipeline Timmy’s “feelings” on this fact:
In 1958, while writing an advice column for “Ebony Magazine,” Dr. King responded to a young “gay” man looking for guidance.
Question: “My problem is different from the ones most people have. I am a boy, but I feel about boys the way I ought to feel about girls. I don’t want my parents to know about me. What can I do? Is there any place where I can go for help?”
MLKjr: “Your problem is not at all an uncommon one. However, it does require careful attention. The type of feeling that you have toward boys is probably not an innate tendency, but something that has been culturally acquired. Your reasons for adopting this habit have now been consciously suppressed or unconsciously repressed. Therefore, it is necessary to deal with this problem by getting back to some of the experiences and circumstances that led to the habit. In order to do this I would suggest that you see a good psychiatrist who can assist you in bringing to the forefront of conscience all of those experiences and circumstances that led to the habit. You are already on the right road toward a solution, since you honestly recognize the problem and have a desire to solve it.”
well, Timmy?
Did you actually read what you pasted? At the time MLK was alive, the consensus around educated, scientific minded people was that homosexuality was a psychological disorder that might be cured with treatment.
On top of that, MLK was a rather religious fellow, and as we know, religious teachings treat homosexuality as sin. But rather than telling the young man that he was going to burn in hell unless he repents, rejects his vile thoughts, comes to Jesus and begs for forgiveness, he tries to suggest talking to a mental health professional. No hate, no bigotry, just a suggestion from a person who shows compassion and love. Within the context, every sentence in that quote is positive. Don’t forget, the boy who asked the question was asking for help, complaining that he ‘feels about boys the way he ought to feel about girls’. In other words, he framed it as something wrong, which he wanted to right.
Don’t forget, in the 50s, for gays, the only ‘solution’ to their ‘problem’ was to find a way to a ‘cure’, so that they can be ‘normal’ like everyone else. Their hope was that medical science will discover the underlying cause to their ‘disorder’ and develop a ‘cure’, so that they can feel about girls what other, ‘normal’ people feel. Even one of the pioneers in the human sexual response studies, William Masters, researched ‘conversion therapy’ and even wrote a book about it (largely discredited by everyone since). Well into the 70s, many people still believed it was a mental disorder (rather than a genetic trait).
perhaps you need to see a good psychiatrist also.
At the time Robert E. Lee was alive, the consensus around educated people in south was that slavery existed because God willed it and they thought it would end when God so ruled. The time and the means were not theirs to decide, conscious though they were of the ill-effects of Negro slavery on both races.
On top of that, Lee was a Virginian first, and so chose to follow his home state, despite his desire for the country to remain intact.
Don’t forget, in the 1850s, slavery in the United States was legal and “normal.” Yet, in an 1956 letter to his wife, Lee wrote, “In this enlightened age, there are few I believe, but what will acknowledge, that slavery as an institution, is a moral & political evil in any Country. It is useless to expatiate on its disadvantages. I think it however a greater evil to the white man than to the black race, & while my feelings are strongly enlisted in behalf of the latter, my sympathies are more strong for the former.” Also of note is Lee’s support of the work by his wife and her mother to liberate slaves and fund their move to Liberia, the success of his wife and daughter in setting up an illegal school for slaves on the Arlington plantation, and the freeing of Custis’ slaves in 1862.
So, according to “Predrag,” we should give MLK a pass because of the times he lived in and because he did other great things and therefore not rip down MLK statues, but we should rip down Lee statues and ignore the times he lived in and the other great things he did which is directly in opposition with his specious argument for keeping the MLK statues.
M’kay.
Logic and liberals don’t mix. Never have, never will. Simple logic destroys the liberal ideology every single time.
The depth of the average Democrat protester’s knowledge of Robert E. Lee is “he was ‘bad,’ I think.”
In general and for most our our current ills, the U.S public education is to blame and, for that, we again have Democrat liberals and their unholy devotion to teachers unions to blame.
So, when do we tear down the Lee Barracks, named after General Robert E. Lee, at the United States Military Academy (West Point)?
Lee didn’t endorse or believe in slavery. He simply felt allegiance for his southern states. Apparently this truth doesn’t register.
Well played… and bottwipe responded as expected.
Pipeline Timmy better take-out Gandhi in the Apple “Here’s To The Crazy Ones” ad…
“I venture to suggest that this is a most dangerous doctrine to preach anywhere,” Gandhi wrote of homosexuality in 1960’s All Men are Brothers. “If it somehow or other gains the stamp of respectability, it will be the rage amongst boys and girls to satisfy their urge among members of their own sex.”
oh no, Timmy, stamp out Gandhi! write another memo, you POS.
oh no! Timmy! Not Mr. Democrat himself too! Not Mr. New Deal! oh no!
“Hoping to crack down on gay activity at a naval station in Newport, Rhode Island, the then-Assistant Secretary of the Navy used decoys to entrap sailors. Roosevelt signed an order directing these gay-baiters to go “to the limit”—i.e. engage in actual sex acts with their victims. In all 17 sailors were court-martialed for sodomy and “scandalous conduct.”
So is every Christian pastor/preacher in the nation. Should we shut down all churches?
you might also follow King’s advice:
“…I would suggest that you see a good psychiatrist…”
Some churches, yes. A good first step would be to eliminate the tax loophole for churches. You will then quickly see how many of them are mainly money laundering organizations for political action committees.
Here’s a more thoughtful view on just when statues and monuments ought to be taken down…
http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/450492/confederate-statues-memorials-have-context
MLK, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson didn’t seek to destroy the US Government. The Confederacy did. It’s THAT SIMPLE. It’s so simple, even botvinnik could comprehend it if his ass wasn’t full of his head.
what a fool you are.
Do you apply the same reasoning to Calexit?
thought not.
While I obviously don’t speak for Tim Cook, I’d imagine his response would be aligned with what most reasonable people would say about this who are against many of the confederate statues being displayed on public property as opposed to being in a museum.
That is to say that MLK, is known for many things other than his stance on gay marriage. He did not fight or lead a war for states’ rights over human rights. His statues recognize him for his civil rights activities and doctrine of peace to affect change.
We can point at other statues/monuments/schools/etc… honoring Washington, Jefferson, and others who owned slaves. What we’re recognizing them for isn’t that they owned slaves or fought for states’ rights to own slaves, but rather that they founded this great democracy.
As far as Robert E. Lee… A statue or memorial recognizing that he freed slaves (including those formerly owned by Washington) would be fine. A statue of him as a war hero against America… that belongs in a museum.
And while we can (hopefully) rationally and reasonably debate what is and isn’t appropriate to display on public grounds… really when it comes to controversial displays, the better place for them is in museums and not in public parks, government buildings, where some people adamantly opposed to them interact (sometimes without choice).
They should all be preserved and placed so that people can learn via docent (or iPhones/iPads with Beacons!) as opposed to being placed where they’re subject to the elements as well as vandalism.
The protestors of their removals should focus their energy on pooling resources to provide for this preservation and education in such facilities.
“Good people can go to Charlottesville,” said Michelle Piercy, a night shift worker at a Wichita, Kan., retirement home, who drove all night with a conservative group that opposed the planned removal of a statue of the Confederate general Robert E. Lee.
After listening to Mr. Trump on Tuesday, she said it was as if he had channeled her and her friends — all gun-loving defenders of free speech, she said, who had no interest in standing with Nazis or white supremacists: “It’s almost like he talked to one of our people.”
Conservatives like Ms. Piercy, who have grown only more emboldened after Charlottesville, believe that the political and media elite hold them and Mr. Trump to a harsh double standard that demands they answer for the sins of a radical, racist fringe. They largely accept Mr. Trump’s contention that these same forces are using Charlottesville as an excuse to undermine his presidency, and by extension, their vote.
— The New York Times, August 16, 2017
“she said it was as if he had channeled her and her friends — all gun-loving defenders of free speech…”
The AG Sessions is demanding a website that promotes resistance to Trump turn over thousands of IP addresses over to the DOJ. Go defend their rights of free speech.
How exactly does your post refute that good people were in Charlottesville to protest the removal of a historic monument?
Answer: It doesn’t.
“… who had no interest in standing with Nazis or white supremacists:”
But you were both there to defend the same thing, symbols of slavery and hatred all the while being a “Christian nation”.
You have obviously have no idea who Robert E. Lee was or what that statue symbolizes.
As I wrote above, the depth of the average Democrat protester’s knowledge of Robert E.
Here’s a thought: how about renaming the barracks after a successful general. Lee might have been skilled in many ways, but he was morally spineless and the battle of Gettysburg demonstrated the limits of his abilities. There is no honor in fighting to retain slavery as an economic crutch. Period.
You fought in a lotta’ combat, O Brave Sarah?
I submit it is you who is morally spineless.
Father was in Air Force. I work in aerospace defending our nation. What do you do, you miserable loser?
I was addressing YOU.
is your name Sarah? No, it’s Pussy Hat Bob.
If you shirked combat and your life was never at risk in defense of these United States you did NOT serve.
Yup, there is very little difference between the groups. I could care less about Tim Cook’s stance, I don’t know why he decided to proclaim himself our Social Justice Theocrat.
I’ll go one better: I am personally *related* to people that both worked to help people in the underground railroad, and in the original civil rights movement. That was real. White supremacy groups are real and need to be extinguished, in my opinion (though much smaller than the media would have you believe). Antifa and their ilk are bored, privileged millennials reacting to their own misguided thinking (mostly white, nearly universally under 30) that wouldn’t know true injustice (or justice, for that matter!) if it smacked them upside the head. Apart from the real physical harm they do, their temper tantrum antics only divest people’s attention away from what ARE legitimately dysfunctional situations and their potential, non-violent solutions. They are pinheaded children that have no awareness of anything that has transpired before they blessed the earth with their presence. I have no respect for them whatsoever, or anyone that gives them a pass. Grown, compassionate adults should just know better.
dead on, excellent analysis.
Was he the guy chanting antisemitic slurs, the guy with fatigues and military style fatigues and a gun taunting others to throw the first punch, or the unshaven KKK member who can’t hold a job because he refuses to deal with people with different levels of melanin in their skin? Anyone who drives to join these fine upstanding Americans rather than simply attending the city council meetings to petition against statue removal is being dishonest with themselves and you.
The reason to hold a rally is to provoke public reaction. The racists got what they wanted.
If you continue to assume that all of us support the leftist thugs because we reject racism, you are obviously equivocating and have no interest in having a rational discussion. Botty is famous for losing arguments because he doesn’t even try to listen to what mainstream America ( “libtards” to him) is trying to say.
I say throw all KKK and AntiFa groups along with botty in gitmo and watch to see how well botty organizes the entertainment agenda. Reality TV at its finest
So tell me some more about your combat experience, GI Sarah?
:::crickets:::
and this time, don’t try to suck off honor from those men who have actually done it.
you cheap, pathetic toady bïtch.
are you going to go?
Well, probably not as low as John Molesta and the DNC.
thank you for your curiosity.
At this point, I think you are Fake News, planted by MDN to get more traffic to their website. There is no way any human being could be so pig-ignorant.
At this point, I would advise you to look in the mirror, but in your case, vampires do not cast a reflection.
have a nice day.
I don’t recall seeing statues of Hitler. Yet people still remember what he did. We don’t learn history fro statues. We learn it from reading. We learn it from film and video. Most of the Confederate statues were erected in the 20th century in a fit of racist, segregationist pique in the 1920s. These weren’t intended to educate. They were intended to intimidate and remind blacks their supposed place.
“We learn it from reading.”
but what if you are censored from reading?
“In an impassioned plea, Mr Cook, boss of the world’s largest company, says that the epidemic of false reports ‘is a big problem in a lot of the world’ and necessitates a crackdown by the authorities and technology firms.”
“‘It has to be ingrained in the schools, it has to be ingrained in the public,’ said Mr Cook.
told ya’
If Tim Cook is such a fan of Antifa he needs to join in their peaceful protests.

ghouls.
slate.com…what_the_alt_left_was_actually_doing_in_charlottesville.html
Not even remotely surprising that you would pop up on the wrong side of this issue.
you can depend I will always be against gravediggers, Ygor.
But white supremacy, fascism, and hatred are fine with you then. Interesting.
Seriously, is that all you got? Some plan to relocate a dead guy and his statue? Is that the hill you want to die on?
you are a ghoul.
So by that comment you tacitly confirm that you support white supremacy, fascism and hatred and believe it is justified by an isolated report of relocation of a dead guy and his statue via the Daily Mail? Just want to be clear here.
you said that, not me…nice try, I am immune to juvenile sophistry.
PS: It was no “relocation,” thugs dug up his grave, you monster.
But you refuse the deny it?
My opinion is identical to the President’s:
“We must remember this truth: No matter our color, creed, religion or political party, we are ALL AMERICANS FIRST… Racism is evil and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis and white supremacists.”
So eventually you, too, can be hounded into rebuking racism and violence when you’re trapped. I don’t put a lot of credence into your’s or the president’s eventual statements but that’s ok.
Carry on with your usual scheduled raving.
““We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Lets come together as one!” Mr. Trump tweeted Saturday afternoon.
wrong again, liar.
you lose.
LOL
laugh it up, bud…the Plantation Party is going to get yet another ass-kickin’ in 2018.
Hilarious.
Yeah, as hilarious as November 8, 2016. I’m still laughing at the utter rejection of The Plantation Party.
Antifa unmasked.
I’m delighted that Tim Cook has a strong sense of morality and actively promotes positive values which should be inherent in America and everywhere else in the world too for that matter.
Never forget that Apple CEO Tim Cook “disagrees” with the following:
“We must remember this truth: No matter our color, creed, religion or political party, we are ALL AMERICANS FIRST… Racism is evil and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis and white supremacists.” – President Trump
Leftist media and leftist globalist CEOs, we see right thru you.
Where exactly did you did you read that Cook had disagreed with that particular statement?
Trump himself disagrees with that very statement. After having read the statement, he reversed himself.
Where exactly, did President Trump reverse himself?
Provide President Trump’s exact words in full context, not some badly-written account or out-of-context snippet by some leftist CNN, MSNBC, Slate, WaPo, or NYT hack.
Is there any news organization on the planet that isn’t left of your position? Even Bannon is attempting to shame the extremists of his right wing circus to quell the justified outrage at the apologists defending racist tradition as an American value, err “history”.
What other nations erect statues of the rebels they defeated in battle?
on behalf of the entire MDN commenters community, congratulations Sarah, you have won The Stevie Wonder Blind Squirrel Award…
no small feat, you’ve have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory from your predecessor, Melvin.
We are all so very proud of you. Your participation trophy is in the mail.
We perhaps should leave the statues and not paper over history. On each statue it should read: Lest we forget. This was a murderous traitor who turned against their country so that humans could own and brutalize other humans. He represents what was worst about our country’s past.
Currentinterest, so let’s label every Apple product with “The CEO of this company eats man sausage.” We want people to know the truth don’t we?
my god, that’s the best bon mot on MDN since the last time I ridiculed XCon.
superb.
If that text was large enough to read from a distance, I might agree with you.
The problem is that we usually put up statues to celebrate people. Reversing that is hard, even with such justifiably harsh inscriptions.
Does the USA also need statues of Hitler to record the image of evil that honorable Americans fought to defeat?
Someone aptly pointed out that confederate statues were not and are not being used to teach history. The monuments depicting defeated racist rebels were erected during the jim crow era by cowardly racists to remind non whites that there were still disgusting racist pricks controlling state governments. Surprisingly, apologists continue to make excuses to retain bad traditions. Old boy.
Who is this Hitler you speak of? I do all my learning by statue, and have never heard of him 😉
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go learn about the great big boy of Bob who apparently freed the hamburger!
Pipeline Timmy is stupid, when he says we are all equal, does he mean that crooks at Microsoft and Google are also equal to Apple. Nonsense. He should stay away from politics and concentrate on Apple, especially regarding the lazy cow he got called Eddy Cue.
Ethno-nationalism—it’s losers. It’s a fringe element. I think the media plays it up too much, and we gotta help crush it… These guys are a collection of clowns.
The Democrats, the longer they talk about identity politics, I got ’em. I want them to talk about racism every day. If the left is focused on race and identity, and we go with economic nationalism, we can crush the Democrats.
— Steve Bannon, White House Chief Strategist, August 16, 2017
Ha, ha, ha, ha….!! Ha, ha, ha, ha….. in stitches….
No wonder he’s on the ropes, even in the Trump administration…!
well, don’t worry about the stitches, your guts fell out long ago.
I’m really enjoying watching this pathetic terrorist nation go down in flames. I’ve previously stated that it’s ripe for a civil war and you can see the hate brewing to the surface. This is great news for the free and civilized world for the more they fight amongst themselves the safer the free and civilized world allowing the free and civilized world to get greater and greater and greater.
Enjoy the karma folks, line up, see what happens to those who betray humanity.
cough-up your NATO obligation, deadbeat.
Nice attempt at distraction without dealing with the issue at hand. Typical of someone from your nation. What’s the rush?
“The 28 member nations, plus soon-to-join Montenegro, will renew an old vow to move toward spending 2 per cent of their gross domestic product on defence by 2024.”
pay-up, deadbeat…our taxpayers are tired of paying for your defense.
I’m sure everyone paying by 2024 as agreed upon by everyone at NATO.
Now about your point regarding the issue at hand. Oh wait you did not make any, so typical of folks from your country who only know how to insults others, use smoke and mirrors to distract from the main issue and avoid the main issue at any cost.
You are a true patriot botvinnik. You make your flag proud.
uh, stupid, it’s August 2017 not 2024…cough it up deadbeat.
Exactly botvinnik, it’s not 2024, that’s when the pay up comes into effect. Must be tough to suffer from prematurity.
Now about your point of the issue at hand. Oh wait you did not make any. What a patriot.
wrong, see graphic….then pay-up, deadbeat.
You can’t deal with the issue at hand can you? No wonder NATO has become such a joke with your country as a member, you can’t even be civilized anymore.
Enjoy your up coming civil war.
I’m not tired of your feeble and pathetic attempt at distracting from the main issue. Keep it up citizen of a hateful terrorist nation, you are a true patriot.
It must be nice to have another country defend your deadbeat nation.
Yes but the way things are going there isn’t much worry about your nation invading anyone for the near future, they are all busy taking down statues and digging up people rolling in their graves.
Sheesh. That is not how it even works bottwipe. And you know that and if you don’t then you are an obvious stupid fuck.
that is precisely how it works..list of NATO deadbeats:
Nice chart. We still do not pay for NATO members so there is no deadbeat in the equation.
You know that. You chart shows which countries have met the 2% goal. That is all it shows.
yeah right, since April 4, 1949.
nice try, Racebaiter.
You still don’t know how NATO works.
Sigh.
sigh.
you lose.
again.
“Trump’s top advisers are reportedly ‘despondent and numb’ and unsure how his presidency will recover after Charlottesville”
says who? you or CNN?
Not me… not CNN
well, then who Racebaiter?
Doesn’t matter but it does make sense. They are trying to manage someone ill suited to the job. Pure and simple.
Elect a crooked businessman as president.. get a cluster fuck.
oh, it “doesn’t matter”? Sounds very similar to your old girlfriends response to the negligent homicide four American diplomats in Benghazi, “At this point, what difference does it really make?”
you fetid piece of shit.
LOL… just make shit up. 4 diplomats in Benghazi. So you just lie and make shit up.
Here is a free clue. After how many hearings, investigations, hissy fits by right wing nut jobs… you still haven’t been able to lock any one up. And you bring it up+, in a dishonest manner. Diplomats. LOL.. bottwipe, you pathetic prick.
Bunch of impotent, whiny little worms. That is all you and YOUR ILK are.
LOL.. my old girlfriend was 50 fucking years ago.
Quote from President Lyndon B. Johnson (Democrat)…
“I’ll have those n*****s voting Democratic for the next 200 years.”
Oh dear… What will the Democrats do now? Rip apart the LBJ presidential library in Texas? LOL
Why? You seem to somehow be confused in your thinking. Johnson did not wage war on the US. I know it is a difficult concept to understand but Johnson was a President. Confederate traitors were… traitors and lost a war.
i know your simple mind won’t be able to grasp those concepts.
hmm, that sounds very similar to the current Calexit “traitors.”
or is that different, Racebaiter?
To tell you the truth bottwipe, the US is ungovernable in it’s present configuration. Perhaps it is time for a serious look at the dissolution of the union or at least a major reordering of things.
But hey. You have you stupid insults. Keeps you from having to think and all.
If it is “ungovernable”, as you posit, then it is because of irresponsible excons like you advocating anarchy.
So, Confederates who left the Union are traitors, but Calexiters would not be? Is that correct?
yes or no.
doG, I’ve never advocated anarchy? Where do you come up with this crap?
I’ve never advocated waging war on the US government. What I said was, is that I think this country is becoming ungovernable. As a single entity.
If there is a legal way to do it, it probably would be best to do it.
once again, you evaded the question.
I’m not going to step into your trap.
If there is a legal way for California to leave the union, i support that. What would be even better, is to solidify regional differences into regional government entities, self governing with defense and related foreign policies handled by a central government.
yeah. a simple yes/no question is a “trap” to a racebaiter. I have no doubt you support the traitors of Calexit.
no, a yes or no question is not a trap. You though are attempting to “prove” I am a seditionist and want to wage war on the US through the way you word your questions and slurs.
Would I support the legal seperation of California from the rest of the US. Yep. We do not need losing red states dragging us down nor do we accept your alleged values.
well okay, better stock up on bottled water, shit-for-brains. The Hoover Dam would be immediately closed for you, all commerce between Calexit and the United States would be closed, all federal monies would end, including all military installations and their staff. San Diego would just simply close-up without the USN. All aeronautics firms would be closed. Tourism would come to a screeching halt.
you wouldn’t make it six months, tops.
and you will be left with a bunch of welfare red states bankrupt because those CA welfare dollars are no longer keeping them afloat.
and beyond that. Why am I not surprised at your comment. You are one sad, pathetic, angry little man.
yeah, right. The United States cannot survive without the bankrupt state of California.

PuffHo…you’re gonna have to do better than that Racebaiter.
I have no doubt California would survive.
actually, without the federal government, it’s own Moonbeam governor, the influx of illegal aliens, its bankruptcy, its exodus of middle class taxpayers…
six months tops.
Well 5 months longer than your red state.
oh yeah, Calexit merchant ships would not have access to the Panama Canal…good luck.
you lose.
again.
Why. It is administered by the Canal Authority and any ship has free access to it by International Law.
C’mon bottwipe. You are not even trying any more. You need a story? I can tell you about how we invented the Jobs style product introduction. Complete with cryptic invitations sent out.
Secede from the Union jackáss and you will see who controls the Panama Canal…the last of your dried vegetables will rot on a barge in the Pacific.
The US does not control the panama canal. Sorry to break it to you.
heh, oh yes they do, Racebaiter.
“US military presence in Panama: There are more than 220 buildings on site, resulting in a very complete facility with plenty of centers and services. As for the economic part, the base [USN] is among the largest single employers in Bay County. It deals with more than $110 millions every year. There are close to 3,000 employees working on site, counting both the military personnel and the civilian contractors and workers.”
you might ask Noriega who controls the Panama Canal…oops, he’s unavailable for comment.
The US does not control the panama canal. Sorry to break it to you.
You did understand the whole legally and presumably without animosity thing, right? Or are you so bitter and mean spirited that you stomp care bears for enjoyment?
your stupidity is amazing.
The US does not control the Panama Canal.
It is easy to use google. I could explain what each word means but I think even you understand common English.
“On September 7, 1977, the treaty was signed by President of the United States Jimmy Carter and Omar Torrijos, de facto leader of Panama. This mobilized the process of granting the Panamanians free control of the canal so long as Panama signed a treaty guaranteeing the permanent neutrality of the canal.”
hey, stupid, even from your “fern days” you must realize through your drug addled mind, that vegetables require water.
the only vegetable left in Calexit after Hoover is turned off is between your cauliflower ears. You are amazingly stupid.
boy, if that ever happened, you’ll see the water spigot at Hoover Dam go off and that water will be redirected to irrigate Nevada and Arizona. You Calexiters would be dead in six months.
Sigh… not surprised that would be your response. Well, then the 40% of the fresh fruits and vegetables that the US consumes, grown in CA would be gone.
We can bump dick heads all night.
False equivalence
Perhaps the Voters Rights Act makes up for the cynical political way in which Johnson acted.
As opposed to, say, an unremarkable defeated military leader who fought to keep slavery a “state right” and spent the postwar years gerrymandering laws to prevent freed slaves from gaining any shred of legitimate rights of citizenship. see a difference there?
I’m really confused by this whole thing (truly not trolling here). Keeping in line with all stuff Apple, I respect Tim Cook as a business leader, but his memo is a head-scratcher. This is what Trump said:
“Racism is evil and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs. Including the KKK, nao-nazis, and white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans,” the President said. “We are a nation founded on the truth that all of us are created equal. We are equal in the eyes of our creator. We are equal under the law, and we are equal under our Constitution. Those who spread violence in the name of bigotry strike at the very core of America.”
Why does Cook have an issue with this? Doesn’t this make his memo deceptive at best?
And MLK is a frequent target of Cook’s quotes, and for good reason- he was a brilliant man and a rebel in his time. But Dr Alveda King agrees with Trump on this one (note: yes, I know Alveda is a Fox contributor and Trump supporter. But she still has a voice and mind, and ostensibly a deeper connection to the MLK philosophy):

WTF is going on here?
“WTF is going on here?”
A George Soros Production.
Those lizard people living undergroud.. .or maybe it’s the underwear gnomes.
Maybe it’s your mom wearing your “San Diego Welcomes The Navy” underoos?
Let’s leave moms out of it.
get out of the kitchen, pussy.
Leave mothers out of it.
can’t take it, pussy? what are you gonna do about it? huh? huh? you gonna hit me with a bicycle lock?
No, I actually honor my parents. I don’t know about you but I had great parents and I won’t talk about yours, you don’t talk about mine.
whoa, you can’t take it pussy boy? Your mother is a goddamn whore but it’s not okay to call for the assassination of the duly elected president of the United States.
how ’bout this, you puss: f you, f your mother and f your marxist horseshit.
you are one pathetic worm
What’s wrong, Racebaiter, you have no answer for “it’s not okay to talk about my mom” but “it’s okay to talk about assassinating the president”?
my God, you’re evil…but decidedly easy to expose.
you are one pathetic individual. I’ve never espoused assassinating the President. That just makes you stupid.
The San Diego County Board of Supervisors named a day for my mother… twice because of her good works in the community. Think Mother Theresa.
I can see what your impressions and relationship with mothers is since you see them all as whores.
:::crickets:::
you lose.
again.
President Trump, by asking, ‘Where does this all end’ — Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln — connects with the American people about their history, culture and traditions.
The race-identity politics of the left wants to say it’s all racist.
Just give me more. Tear down more statues. Say the revolution is coming. I can’t get enough of it.
— Steve Bannon, White House Chief Strategist, August 16, 2017
This reaction is a helluva lot better than turning off Apple Pay… wait, this Big Brother fool just did that too. I’m so over Apple’s preachy self righteousness. Enjoy your fruit, folks. I’m off this train.
Enjoy Windows 10 – I hear it’s awesome! Being good to each other is self-righteousness, huh? See ya.
So we are in the disinfo stage now. bottwipe and bc1014.
I see you all got the latest talking points. Bottwipe had to hold the fort (not very well) last night until you all got the memo.
Pathetic just like your pathetic excuse for a president.
I for one am thrilled that a portion of my money that’s going to the iPhone8, the new MacPro, watch v3, etc… will also go to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
This is what corporate leadership looks like, guys.
…under fascist Tim Cook.
unhinged.
You have a bizarre interpretation of the definition of fascism. You really need to find a different forum to bitch to. You are a hypocrite to use Apple products and services if you are so outraged at what Cook and the overwhelming majority of the liberal fruit company does.
how ’bout this instead: kiss my ass, Sarah.
Send me your address, big shot.
you gonna come whup muh ass, big girl?
Make up your mind. You talk like you can handle yourself. Afraid for a gal to call you on it?
Also, as usual, you pretend you know what you’re talking about when in reality you are projecting most of the time.
Case in point: nobody who knows me calls me “big”. You however have demonstrated you have a big mouth and no shutoff valve.
hahahaha, yeah baby, I am mortified! Terrified!
Sometimes you just have to ignore the whiners and do the right thing.
Tim is dragging a great company into identity politics…and I’m worried!!!
Apple should stay out of politics and should not take sides with any political movement associated with do gooders, naive liberals, victimhood movements or racists of any color for that matter.
As of 12:45pm Apple stock is down $2. Timmy needs to keep his mouth shut.
Tim Cook, is Steve’s worst mistake!
Oooh. Two whole dollars!
Missing the bigger picture, don’t you think?
It takes more than a 15 second attention span to lead a large organization. Something Cook is okay, not great, at doing. But look how bad the alternative could be.
Nice job getting results with those photo op business councils, Trump.
I am sick of Tim Cook grandstanding at every little social event as if he is the only corporate execs that do so. He is not eve an activist CEO, as all he does is distribute a little memo among employers etc. I also do not want him to donate money from Apple coffer into which he milked us from. Apple customers consist of full of diverse individuals. For obvious cause such as helping poor etc, sure, but if he wants to show “his” stand by money, use his own please. All other colleagues of him, Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, Zuckerberg, and what’s his name in Google, are all contributing their own huge fortune to good cause (yes, I know they are mostly corporate founders). Other companies do things more quietly but far more effectively for actual results,or CEO by their own acts, rather than just barking. Tim, show me your money first and we shall follow.
At least they haven’t scrubbed The Dukes of Hazzard from iTunes, -yet.
LoL
yet.
Hmmm, I posted here a little while ago, saw my post on the screen, and now it’s gone. I can only guess that something in my post was so offensive that it was deemed improper. Please forgive me for the sin of disagreeing with most of you on this site.

Deleted. And one I’ve posted today was not even allowed to be published on this site.
I see it up now. Perhaps it just took a while for it to be posted.
So all you people against what Apple has done, are also against overturning Citizens United…….. and NO corporation or business entity can do anything political.
crickets…….
crickets…….
crickets…….
Sorry, also for overturning Citizens United.
It seems hate in all its forms is wrong, but never as wrong as when displayed by a group that we disagree with; those we call “hate groups”. We hate hate groups.
Trump never drew a “moral equivalence” between the two opposing groups at Charlottesville. He simply said that there was blame for the violence on both sides, which is true. Liberals seem to be incapable of objectively analyzing anything; rather they see the world as they would wish that it is.
Just like Trump on that bus. He never advocated for molesting women. What he said was that if one is famous, women will LET you do anything. If you doubt that assertion, go to any rock concert. professional or even college athletic event. There will be female groupies hanging around hoping that they are the chosen one(s).
Like it or not, on both occasions he spoke the truth.
SPLC is a hate group, they make money off of fantasy Nazi bogeymen, the fake right Nazis are on the same side as the communist Antifa left: http://www.vdare.com/articles/the-fulford-file-no-virginia-dare-the-splc-was-never-a-civil-rights-stalwart-it-was-always-a-dangerous-joke
