“Apple has rolled out its fifth update for the Safari Technology Preview, making a long list of improvements to things like JavaScript, CSS, and the Web Inspector,” Killian Bell reports for Cult of Mac. “The release also bolsters security and stability.”
“The Safari Technology Preview, which was first released back in March, give developers the opportunity to get their hands on Safari changes and improvements before they rollout to all,” Bell reports. “Anyone can use it, but it’s not intended for everyday browsing.”
Bell reports, “The fifth release, which comes just two weeks after the fourth, makes a massive list of improvements.”

One of the many reasons I don’t use Safari is the complete inability to structure my bookmarks – no spacers in long lists/large folders of bookmarks. I have perhaps 350 bookmarks that are arranged with spacers in Firefox. When I import them into Safari, I get 5 folders with very long lists of bookmarks. Useless.
Many will argue cosmetic/eye candy. Nope – it’s my work flow and how I work. The inability to structure Safari bookmarks beyond simple folders means it is less efficient for me. Period. Unless and until, Safari is not an option.

Been frustrated with Safari after many years as my workhorse for web surfing. Switched to Vivaldi. Pretty slick I might say.
