MacDailyNews Note: On July 21, 2015, Apple provided the following guidance for its fiscal 2015 fourth quarter:

• revenue between $49 billion and $51 billion
• gross margin between 38.5 percent and 39.5 percent
• operating expenses between $5.85 billion and $5.95 billion
• other income/(expense) of $400 million
• tax rate of 26.3 percent

Live streaming uses Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology. HLS requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a PC with Edge on Windows 10.

    1. And as usual – expect the stock to go severely down after earning – regardless of what they report – trust me I’d like to eat my words being a long time stock holder, but this is simply the repetitive history.

      1. Unfortunately true. You can pretty much be assured that Apple will fall on large volume of news, good or bad. I believe the algorithms used by hedge funds and high frequency traders are based in large part on the volume of news. The earnings call always generates lots of media attention so virtually guarantees a drop in price.
