“Multiple sources have informed BGR that AT&T has blacked out vacation days for the second half of September in preparation for the iPhone 5S launch date,” Jonathan S. Geller reports for BGR.
“This has taken place every single year starting with the first iPhone launch, and it limits AT&T employee vacations and time off,” Geller reports. “We were also told that AT&T will not be launching any other high-profile devices during the second half of September, again confirming that this time period is for the upcoming iPhones. ”

I have never hear about those companies (sprint, AT&T, Verizon, etc) blocking vacations during any android lunch, have you? May be they are not as popular and love and they wanted to think.

This will be my 7th iPhone launch working at AT&T. The only time there has been vacation blocked for a product launch has been for iPhones. Vacation block starts September 12th!
