Apple has begin hanging their WWDC 2012 banners at Moscone West in San Francisco in anticipation of next week’s event.
WWDC 2012: Where great ideas go on to do great things.
9to5Mac has a gallery of photographs that show the venue and some of the banners.
See the gallery here.
[Thanks to MacDailyNews Reader “D. King” for the heads up.]
cool hanging the banners
lame slogan… poor and uninspiring
yea. the whole point behind it totally escaped you obviously.
you know it is WWDeveloperC.. try to figure it out. wink wink.
“Where great ideas go on to do great things”,
my post is not a case by which I am incapable of figuring out, it is an opinion which, I will repeat so you can comprehend; it is a lame and uninspiring “headline” this conference.
It’s rather luke warm
Its a tad padded. What’s wrong with simply where great ideas lead to great things or do great things.
I agree. People have ideas. And people [can] do great things. Ideas cannot do great things. It just doesn’t sound right. I hope that Apple did not pay very much for that slogan.
If the slogan were “Helping people with great ideas to do great things” then it would make more sense to me. The focus of Apple is on people – the user experience – and its slogans should reflect that concept.
Noticed a prominently displayed Hulu+ app icon. Makes me wonder if Hulu+ will finally be made available for the Apple TV.
good eyes, maybe you have something there
much more interesting when Apple uses subliminal clues to inspire us
since these conferences are loved by all mac-fans… not just the developers (shinolashow) obvious and redundant advertising is lame
Anyone else notice how long that tag is, is this a sign that Steve is no longer in charge? We’re other wwdc tags that long?
Hoping this is not a conference where ONLY ideas will be shared and THEN later (6 months) become reality.
GIve it to us now, Apple. Lets hope to be blown away with spectacular things – ready and able – not demos and talk of things to come in 2013 and 2014. NOW IS THE TIME.
I see PBS, CNN, Hulu+…come on baby, apps for TV!!!
Don’t judge a conference by it’s banners.
My favorite Apple banner was WWDC 2004 “Redmond, start your photocopiers”.
