Apple looks to bolster Apple TV accessibility; new Nike + iPod patents surface

“On May 10, 2012 the US Patent & Trademark Office published a patent application from Apple that relates to Apple TV,” Jack Purcher reports for Patently Apple.

“More specifically, Apple’s patent is about making Apple TV more accessible to those with disabilities,” Purcher reports. “Additionally, new Nike + iPod patents have surfaced today from both Apple and Nike that claim that they’ve made improvements to the system while one last entry today briefly touches on new location based technology relating to beacon-based Geofencing.”
