  1. It would seem a bit of a popularity contest. To be completely honest, I would’ve put Tim Berners Lee above Jony, but Tim doesn’t have the “cool” card, and is less known.

  2. “Over the past 15 years, Ive has submitted designs of some of the most popular electronic products of all time, commissioned, co-conceived and approved by Steve Jobs, worked on and improved upon by myriad of other industry leading Apple groups including the brilliant software teams, which have now reached iconic status. These include iMac, Macbook, iPhone, iPad, and of course, the iPod.”

There, corrected the typos for the hysteric Brits.

      1. Your kidding right? “Brits own our creative industry” 😀
How many awards u gonna give this Limey who wouldn’t be shit without Apple. US owns the IT industry u moron stop talking out of ur ass. Silicon Valley is in US not UK.

  3. Another thing I notice they keep giving this Limey awards over and over again in some desperate attempt to credit him with Apple’s success, surely u Brits have more to be proud of other then him. Fact is the heart of Apple is Software & everybody knows it. No one would buy Apple stuff if iOS or OS X sucked. Ive is talented but without Steve/Apple he would be designing night lamps.

  4. Are we all forgetting ARM processors?
You may not like the “Brits” but they do invent some awesome stuff.

They are not very good at making and merchandising their inventions, but that cannot be a reason to denigrate their achievements.

    No, I am not British.
