Fix-iPhones claims to have the rear case housing for the “iPad 3.”
“There are several subtle differences [between iPad 2 and iPad 3], and together with our techs, we are able to tell you just what to expect when Apple announces the iPad 3,” Fix-iPhones reports. “The mounts for the logic board are very different, which means the logic board shape will be different allowing for more battery.”
Fix-iPhones reports, “The camera is different. It is hard to make a judgment just by looking at the casing, but what we can expect is a different camera on the iPad 3 than what we had on the 2. LCD will be different than what we have had before. Whether or not it will be the super screen we have seen reported will have to wait. But the different mounting does mean that the LCD has been redesigned at the very least.”

It better not be thicker.
Thicker is fine, and it probably will be. Better for battery life, and squeezing in a bit more tech.
Yeah, I’m guessing that no one will buy it. Right?
It better have a 15″ screen or no one is going to buy it. Apple needs to get off their asses and make the screen BIGGER!
I hope that was sarcasm.
Whoever leaked or is unable to account for that case – if it’s legit – is gonna face a serious ass-whoopin’!
So iPad 3 is “different” from iPad 2. That’s incredible news…
+ 1
The question is… Internally, or externally?
Perhaps apple will troll us all by releasing the iPad 2S 😀
And the Earth is round. Move along folks, nothing to see here.
Patch that leak. My iPad is getting soaked.
wowthatwasanamazingpicture.
What else ya got?
Profound! “The iPad 3 will be different than the iPad 2”.
Pulitzer layup, MDN!
Was this from. DigiTimes?
“allowing for battery”
This phrase alone is good sign that this “news” is made-up nonsense.
First of all, in iPad 2 there is enough room for more battery already, it has nothing to do with board design.
Second, there will be no “more battery” since this component is the heaviest part of device. There is no reason why would Apple want to make its device heavier. If they wanted, they could do it with iPad 2 already — as I wrote, there is more than enough of space left.
(That said, the housing could be real. However, what and why there is different, is made up nonsense.)
That’s look the same. Yawn…..
