“Yesterday was the Super Bowl, otherwise known as the Big Game, and millions of folks in the U. S. headed to parties dedicated to watching the game and the ads,” James Kendrick reports for ZDNet. “I did the same and took along my iPad to augment the viewing experience.”
“While I figured I was the only guest at the party geeky enough to bring the tablet, there were actually three iPads in attendance including mine,” Kendrick reports. “It seems that it is becoming more commonplace for iPad owners to carry them to places they would previously never have dared to bring them.”
Kendrick reports, “It is a trend I expect we’ll see grow in the future based on my own experience. It was cool to have a crowd of people gathered around the iPad to join in the fun.”

Used my iPad for everything but the Super Bowl and didn’t go to any Super Bowl party.
I heard there were people bringing iPads to Super Bowl parties mainly to hold their hot wings, slices of pizza and various snacks. They say it makes a wonderful substitute tray when the host runs short.
Just kidding.

Brought my iPad to a super bowl party. And just cause I hate the freakin sport and the commericals have gotten lame. I got a few friends to play RISK with me on the iPad. It was fun!
Mine was at the party, 3 total at ours.
My best friend’s 7-year old daughter brought her iPad2 and video conferenced with OTHER 6&7 year old kids during the game. THAT, in a nutshell, is why AAPL is a $400 billion company…..
