“Stanford University is offering the iOS 5 edition of its well-regarded iPhone and iPad application development course free on iTunes U,” Jordan Golson reports for MacRumors.
“The offering includes the same course lectures and slides that Stanford students experience, but without the Stanford credit or access to instructors,” Golson reports. “Still, for burgeoning developers, iTunes U is an excellent opportunity to get world-class instruction for free.”
Golson reports, “The university notes that the two Stanford prerequisite courses, Programming Methodology and Programming Abstractions, are also available on iTunes U.”

Awesome! I’ve always wanted to program for iOS. Going to iTunes Store
It’s a great move from them, at the same time this serve as publicity for them as i believr the courses would be very well received 🙂
They’ve done this before. It’s good of them.
Subscribed.
I have always had a hand in programming of some sort, I know enough to be dangerous 😉
Always wanted to do iOS/OS X apps. Have the books to start learning Obj C right next to my iMac. Just getting started has always been the problem..
If only there were time for all the things that are really interesting…
😆
I know. That being a doctor thing has kept me from so many things. Seriously.
These courses are excellent! Been watching since they first started offering them a couple of years ago.
