Bob Cringely interviewed Steve Jobs back in 1995 for his PBS series “Triumph of the Nerds.”
Only a small portion of the interview was used for the on-air episode, and then the tape was misplaced and feared lost. However, the master tape containing the full tape was recently found, and now you too can see “The Lost Interview” in a theater near you soon.
Here’s the official trailer:

I agree with all the acclaim. However, I think that this is a bit much.
Theaters? Money grubbing greedy bastards. Release it on the web “PUBLIC” television.
Hell, just post it on the PBS website..
It’s called BitTorrent, and it will be available quickly I am sure.
I refuse to put money in their pocket for this, it is so blatant an attempt to profit now that he is gone.
The whole lost interview can be found on Youtube in six parts.
You don’t need to go to a theatre to see it.
Link??
Not correct, as that “Lost Interview” is from 1990 and Steve is wearing a suite! It’s a good interview, mind you, but not what’s going to be in the theater.

SJ alway in my heart, he never gone.
Great that this “lost interview” was found, but terrible that it gives totally undeserved credibility to Bob “I cringe when anyone says his name” Cringely.
I always thought this tradition of stamping a number of journalists under “Bob Cringely” pseudonym-cliché is cringing, confusing and outright stupid.
This ought to be released on the Web rather than Theatres. Is there any bottom to the “greed factor”???
