Apple’s own website shows that new MacBook Pro models are “just weeks away,” Killian Bell reports for Cult of Mac.
“If you head over to Apple’s online store and search for ‘MacBook Pro,’ you’ll be greeted by a list of Apple’s MacBook Pro-related products, including two entries for a ‘Macbook Pro Memory Model,’ which are set to ship in November,” Bell reports. “While we don’t think these are the new MacBook Pros themselves, it looks like they could be components, such as RAM upgrades.”
Bell reports, “If these are components, they traditionally ship a week or two after a new product launch, which suggests the new MacBook Pros are now right around the corner.”

Just bought my university-bound daughter a current model at education pricing.
Now this one will be mine!
Or will I go for an Air?!
The Memory Model is made of 100% Tempurpedic Unibody Memory Foam. Sweet!
with a little PMS added for endurance….
Australians (and other citizens of the Commonwealth?) will know that as PMT.
Pre-menstrual tantrum?
I’m more inclined to believe they are the new models and they are SSD or Flash Memory based units.
I’m like Mike—this is the 2006 Intel Macbook replacement I’ve been waiting for. I can’t do my bidness on a dink 11- or 13-inch screen.
Please let me have more than 8GB of RAM. At least 16GB preferably 32GB.
No one will ever need more than 640kb of memory.
😀
Eh, this seems unlikely to me. The production ramp-up before Christmas just wouldn’t have enough time if they released in November. We’d end up with shortages of stock over Christmas, which is NOT what you want if you’re trying to sell as many as possible. So I hope this isn’t true.
Anybody got any rumors on Mac Pros? I think it’s time for me to consider one.
NEED MOAR POWR!!!!
