  1. So, where’s Ballmer’s Left Nit these days? During the Keynote last week he came totally unglued at the horrible presentation, the horrible product launch of iPhone 4S(teve) and swore Apple was falling into the abys.

Amazing what a difference can happen within a single day or a week. BLN, where are you? You need to stand up and eat just a little humble pie.

  2. I thought you might enjoy this limerick posted on Computerworld blog by O2Blrish:

“Jobs is gone,” people said with a sigh.
“He was such an intelligent guy.
    He’s a man on a mission
    A man with great vision,
    The Apple of everyone’s i.”

  3. I keep waiting for PBS to re-air Cringely’s “Triumph of the Nerds” from ’96 or so – y’know, the one that accurately and thoroughly chronicles phase one of Steve’s career (and more), and the one where all his choice quotes about Microsoft and all come from. I wouldn’t mind seeing “Pirates of Silicon Valley” again too.

  4. Just recently rewatched ‘Triumph of the Nerds’… Cringely’s awesome but yeah, it could do with an ‘update’. “Microsoft’s domination of the industry is now complete”, “Apple is in serious trouble”, “Larry Ellison thinks we’ll ditch PCs for Information Appliances”… it’s funny what 14 years and a few bits of kit starting with “i” can achieve…
