“Apple will finish off the month of September — and its fourth fiscal quarter — with a big grand opening push, opening six [seven] stores on four continents in two days,” Gary Allen reports for ifoAppleStore.
“Last July Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer pledged that 30 new stores would open by September 30th, and with this week’s grand openings, the number of new stores will total 27,” Allen reports. “Besides the IFC Mall (Hong Kong) and Nanjing East (Shanghai) store openings reported here earlier, the company will hold grand openings at Westfield Hornsby (Australia), Centro Sicilia (Italy), New Haven (Conn.) and Metrotown (Canada).”

That’s great – now when is the Grand Central store going to open? 😉
The more Apple builds, the more people see and use their products. They get hands on experience. Once they see how good Apple products are vs Windows/Android POS, they buy Apple. 🙂
Metrotown? where the heck is that? I have been all over Canada and there4 is no place called Metrotown. A shopping centre maybe.
Metrotown is in Burnaby, BC
What about Fairfield connecticut they should get one where Borders used to be. It would be the most popular place in Fairfield and would make apple fans halos and all that. Please!!!!!
The people in Brooklyn are clamoring for one there, too. 😉
Five Apple Stores in Manhattan, and the only one in NYC outside of Manhattan is in Staten Island – how weird is that? 😉
Still waiting for a store or 4 south of San Antonio.
