Today, the sneakiest crossover of the summer lands exclusively on Apple Arcade. Through October 7, Sneaky Sasquatch transforms the iconic world of Subway Surfers+ with the charm and aesthetic of the hit open-world Arcade game. Players can unlock four character skins and two unique hoverboards, and dash through a reimagined level inspired by Sasquatch Valley locations, with raccoon coins replacing the classic gold ones and the security guard trading his usual look for a ranger disguise. But the sneakiness doesn’t stop there — fans have plenty more to look forward to with a major update arriving September 17.
“Sneaky Sasquatch is the most beloved game on Apple Arcade and has had one of the most passionate communities of players since day 1,” said Alex Rofman, Apple’s senior director of Apple Arcade, in a statement. “This exclusive crossover with Subway Surfers+ and the new birdwatching update are just the latest ways players can enjoy Sneaky Sasquatch, with more awesome updates planned for the game over the coming months.”
Add birdwatching to the extensive list of fun and mischievous adventures players can experience in Sneaky Sasquatch, from skiing down snowy slopes to racing customized sports cars to becoming a doctor — and everything in between. On September 17, more than 30 species of birds will appear in Sneaky Sasquatch’s world, ready to be spotted, snapped, and logged. Players can snap a photo and deliver it to the birder to log in the bird database to earn rewards. Not every shot is created equal, though: Photos are graded on the quality of composition and subject, with bonuses for a bird’s rarity, a brand-new sighting, or a lucky multi-bird shot.
That’s not all — available now in celebration of Sneaky Sasquatch’s birthday are all-new Messages stickers featuring 11 festive designs full of Sasquatch-size fun. They have been added to the previously released Sneaky Sasquatch sticker pack featuring silly expressions and campground shenanigans.
