Security by invisibility is a myth. Apple uses security by design.
I use at least 9 of these methods.
I’ve been using OSX since version Beta hand-delivered to me at the Mac Conference in Paris in 2000 when it was first launched. I installed it immediately when I got back to my room. I have never had a malware problem.

At some point you tried out Windows in either a VM or bootcamp and Windows got infected with something 😉

Well, while I’m sure everyone understands your desire to advertise, it is considered bad form, inappropriate, in essence rude to insert advertisements for your site into the middle of a discussion concerning the topic.
