“Apple’s iTunes chief Eddy Cue has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services, per contents of Apple CEO Tim Cook’s email message to employees,” Christian Zibreg reports for 9to5Mac.

“Interestingly, Cue is now responsible for Apple’s iAd division which has been struggling lately following the official launch in the summer of 2010,” Zibreg reports. “Apple’s PR has already updated Eddy Cue’s bio page to reflect the change.”
