“We are getting reports that Apple Stores are receiving packages that aren’t to be opened until Tuesday,” Seth Weintraub reports for 9 to 5 Mac.

“Perhaps they are fluffy little iClouds – or maybe new Airport adverts?” Weintraub wonders. “Or, yes, Lion and iOS 5.”

  1. It really is fun to be a fan of Apple. Lol. For years, relatives get their Apple info from mainstream news. I’m like “didn’t you watch the keynote live?”. Hahaha. It’s fun to look forward to cool stuff.

  2. Apple use to be so secretive, not even giving hints, leaving people to whatever rumors were circulating online. Now they just announced iCloud a week in advance and here we go with these packages, or should I say teasers, in the stores. Times change…

      1. And how when he claimed that it was the most expensive phone on the market (despite there being more than a dozen other more expensive ones) and Ina Fried questioned him, he just repeated more sternly with a pissed-off face, “It’s the most expensive phone on the market.”

In other words, don’t question my blatant lies.

  3. Calm down folks, Lion has not been through enough testing to be released yet. If mystery boxes are arriving at Apple Stores, they are probably iClouds to rain on Microsoft’s and Google’s parade.
