At a town hall in Washington on Monday, Spanish-language network Univision anchor Jorge Ramos asked U.S. President Barack Obama, “Do you have an iPad?”
“‘I do have an iPad,’ Obama replied, joking later about also having his own computer,” Robert Schroeder blogs for MarketWatch. “‘I mean, Jorge, I’m the president of the United States,’ Obama said. ‘You think I’ve got to go borrow somebody’s computer?’ said Obama to laughter. ‘Hey, man, can I borrow your computer? How about you? You’ve got one?'”
Schroeder blogs, “Obama… didn’t say which [iPad] version he owns — or what he uses it for.”

Firstly, as a Brit, I object to any US President being called the leader of the free world.
I live in a free country (of sorts) and the U.S President wasn’t on any of the ballot papers I’ve seen, so he’s not the leader of my free world.
Secondly, one of the problems with the American political set up is the two party race system. You can either be Republican or a Democrat. That’s it. That’s the choice.
What happens if members of the American electorate don’t agree with either party? Who can they elect to represent their views? Nobody. That doesn’t sound very healthy to me. Hardly ‘free’, more of a closed Republican or Democrat view.
The reason nothing gets done in the U.S.A politically speaking is the same reason nothing used to get done in the U.K system when we only had Labour and Conservative parties standing: whichever got in was always undoing what had gone before, from one extreme to another (whilst blaming the outgoing party for everything that went wrong in between the transition of governments).
At least the U.K system allows any nutjob to stand, as long as they can afford the deposit to stand, hence we have the Liberals, the Green Party, UKIP, the Socialist Party and many others, most impressively we had the Monster Raving Looney Party (they should have formed a government? At least just for a laugh!).
No political system is perfect, however the most workable would be a benign dictatorship – look it up.
As to the point of the MDN story, Obama has an iPad? Big deal. Whoopee doo, so do millions of other people throughout the world.

Hawaii has laws that are extremely strict in terms of actually obtaining a birth certificates. The bottom line is that Hawaii doesnt provide birth certificates for anyone, and they do not require any of their state offices, US Military, colleges, etc to request such copies. what they DO provide is a sworn statement from the Hawaii secretary of state that the person in question was actually born in Hawaii, (that the database is factually correct) and this is really the first time that it has come up to determining the validity of a presidential campaign application. Hawaii feels that their secretary of state’s authority to certifiy birth records should be enough. I agree with the Hawaii Secretary of state.

Explain why his grandmother and other relatives say he was born in Kenya. Explain why he won’t produce the original. Hawaii is extremely liberal in letting people claim to have been born there. Explain why he’s hiding his college records. Spending millions of dollars hiding all of this. You have not produced one shred of evidence proving otherwise. Explain why Michelle Maobama is on video calling Kenya Barack’s native country. These so called fact checking websites are all run by liar liberals. Media Matters??????
