MacDailyNews Take: They can’t even name Twitter accounts succinctly. Meanwhile, Trip Chowdhry, if there’s no Microsoft presentation at WWDC (even w/o Monkey Boy), you’ve got some ‘splainin’ to do!

As per MDN reader Mark Armstrong below, if Chowdhry got his “info” from this April Fool’s Joke article, he should change his name to Chowderhead.

[UPDATE: 5:45pm EDT: Chowdhry Says He Was Wrong; No Ballmer At WWDC]

  1. As long as Microsoft is #3 on that list, they’re unfortunately still relevant in the public eye. But we all know which direction they’re going. All in good time, my friends. All in good time.

  2. I simply can’t imagine Jobs allowing Ballmer to share the stage with him. A flunky, perhaps (e.g. Roz Ho), but not Ballmer himself. Jobs and Ballmer are complete opposites of each other, in personality, sense of taste, communication style, and appearance. I managed to stomach Bill Gates sitting next to Jobs on-stage, but Ballmer would be too much.

  3. What I was looking forward to was Jobs and Ballmer coming out in tuxedos and doing “Puttin’ On the Ritz.”

Or at least Jobs leading Ballmer around with a chain leash like a dancing bear.

  4. I did not think that the Dancing Monkey from Microsoft would be there. I watched the video and I do not think that he can dance for 7 minutes straight. 1 or 2 minutes tops!

  5. Microsoft is anything but succinct. One time in a conversation with the Microsoft Partner Program, a lady was helping me wade through Microsoft blather on their partner web site to figure out what it meant. I said, “I guess the motto at Microsoft is ‘never use one word when twenty will do.”

The woman whispered, “I think you’re right!”
