BGR’s report on this has an interesting sentence: “Supply chain rumors suggest this new MacBook and its larger siblings may launch in the upcoming weeks, even possibly Tuesday.”
Since when does the MacBook have larger siblings?
Also, does this mean the MacBook Air will see an upgrade as well?

Don’t know if you’ve seen it yet, but I posted a link to an article about my uncle on the other thread. It’s a nice write-up.
Where are the speakers?
They are not along the back panel outboard of the hinges like the present MacBooks. And I don’t see a grill on the palmrest surface.
Behind the display, or under the palmrest perhaps, ?
All pretty reasonable except for one thing. I would think the change in video system would make this a new model and the gestalt numer is changed to 7,1 but the updated label on the box shows the old model number A1342. This makes no sense. No way Apple would release this under the old model number.
Note – not to bright are they… Covering up the serial number but leaving the barcode visible. No doubt Apple will trace that number to the reseller and have some questions for them. And why hide the UPC and part #. Unless these are faked pictures based on other rumors or info.
