Apple’s iPad. Will it blend? That is the question, here is the answer:

MacDailyNews Take: Your device hasn’t really arrived until BlendTec’s Tommy Dickson checks to see if it blends.
[Thanks to MacDailyNews Reader “Chris C.” for the heads up.]
I am suddenly feeling sick to my stomach.
That was so sad.
Tastes like lithium.
Painful to watch
There’s a world of difference between hacking an iPad and blending one.
I just got this sick feeling in my stomach.

Damn you Dave, you just beat me to the punch line.
I feel there’s been a great disturbance in the Force.
Is it just me or have we reached the point where this really isn’t funny anymore? At what point does the joke cease being amusing when the punchline is the same and you are only changing the characters in the joke?
asinine.
I guess I’m getting to old, WHY would you do this, what point does it make.
Needs lime.
What PR wisely said. Truly, truly stupid.
This is just wrong….. on so many levels.
This is disgusting. There are suffering children in Africa with netbooks who would gladly take that iPad.
What an absolute moron. I want to throw him in a blender. Waste of life.
$500 in the iBank. Could I interest you in a few more, sir?
OH THE HUMANITY!!!
These Blendtec people were at Costco in St. Louis on Saturday doing a demo of their blenders and making soup and ice cream. I’d never heard of them before, but took their name down to research their product. Well, this sold it for me — there’s NO WAY I’d get one of their blenders now. No way. They don’t seem reputable after seeing this kind of nonsense.
*speechless*
Oh look! it’s sunny outside!
Brilliant marketing. Sure, sad to destroy something so beautiful, but that’s exactly why you’ll always remember their own product … which really does blend everrrrryyythhhhiiing.
500 bucks buys massive publicity and geek-cred. That’s cheap advertising, folks.
Did anyone else notice that as he smashed the ( moment of silence) Ipad, the keyboard was still on the display even though the screen was allmost folded in half? That is the true test of strength and durability of apple products. I still say we kick his ass for his ipad abuse issues.
So, will the idiot file a lawsuit with Apple due to the fumes he just inhaled? Maybe if he is hit by a small iPad fragment because it would not fit in his blender?
Idiot! At least wear a mask and tell the kids not to do this at home.
Yes, you are officially old. Lighten up. Apple products are cool, kick ass, and amazing. Not humorless.
It is getting a little old, but having to “hack” (as Monger put it) the iPad to blend it added some fun.
Did you all notice how tuff the iPad was? The idiot had it folded and the iPad was still working. I think if you just drop a Dell or HP they stop. Sometimes, Windows will kill it before the blend test.
There goes the warranty.
Very hard to watch – still in shock.
And yes- the starving children… Just what will cure them- an iPad; stay away from that sandwich kid- come here and look at these cool photos.
