Where the heck do they come up with these prices?
This is download, not cardboard boxes sold in a store.
Are they TRYING to discourage sales?
BTW – I’ve always loved Jumping Steve.

$30 for a visualizer. I just can’t see paying that.
@the other Steve
Seriously. Snow Leopard costs 29 bucks and an iTunes plugin costs 20?! Insane.
By far, the best Mac screensaver is Electric Sheep, but I don’t think that it has made it to visualizer yet.
Best visualizer is iConcertCal, which alerts you when an artist you’re playing has an upcoming concert in your area!
I should start makng visulizers and selling them for . . . wait for it . . . wait . . . $0.99!!!
Why would anyone with half a brain pay more then that for anything in, or on iTunes?
Is there anything as good as Milkdrop for iTunes? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MilkDrop
Does anyone know if iSpaz works with the latest iTunes 9?
It was a visualizer that controlled the intensity of the backlit keyboard on PowerBooks and MacBook Pros.
Who needs iTunes or a computer? I just get loaded and slam my head into the wall. Far out!
With iTunes 9, the classic visualizer has failed for me. Running 10.4.11 on an old G4. The new visualizer will work, but not well.
What about Vogelbusch and Eskatonia.net?
Those are free to download and use, however donations I recall are welcome.
You mean I should get one of those visualizers and stare at it, but why? And pay for it too? Nuts.
Anyone know of any good free visualizers that display the songs lyrics (artist and album would be nice too), either the full lyrics or even a scrolling lyrics??
Visualizers? That’s like hanging a pair of fuzzy dice in a Lamborghini. I am busy doing other things while I listen to itunes music.
just my $0.02
JewelCase (http://www.opticalalchemy.com/) is a great iTunes visualiser. It displays your CD album art, album tracklisting, artist, year of release and which track is presently playing, provided, of course, you have added this info to your tracks!
Visualizers and Screensavers, et al. — tho’ requiring work — should be used as a calling card for developers skills.
Sure, ask for a donation. It is, after all, commerce you ultimately seek. But, realistic demands please.
@Ray,
Fuzzy dice should not be in ANY car these days. Unless, of course, it’s a (bitchin’) Camaro and you have feathered back hair parted down the middle and are wearing a skin tight t-shirt with a cigarette pack rolled up in the sleeze a la Snyder.
It’s true. I don’t care how good the visualizer is. Unless it comes with a free acid trip, for starters, there is no reason to pay more than a solid $1 or $2 USD. Also, I am a developer, so I know this is not a market of potential, substantial, growth. It’s not rocket science.
