Does anyone know how to see how many apps there are in the app store without resorting to an Apple press release?

I tell you, I look forward to iLounge’s annual catalog. They are really incredible. To be honest, it was one of those catalogs that led me to buy my first iPod.
It was all gravy from there, ipod #2, #3, #4, #5, iMac, iTV, Macbook…. all within 2 years.
