An inside view of Apple’s ImageKit

“When Leopard arrived, a number of significant new technologies came with it, including Objective-C 2.0, Core Animation, and ImageKit,” Dave Jewell reports for The Register.

“ImageKit brings together a number of classes designed to make it easy to display and edit images, view slideshows, take pictures using an attached or built-in camera, and more besides. 1. This isn’t even useful – why would the average person care? This isn’t a programming forum, or even very technical at all. I thought most articles were supposed to spark ill informed political ranting and mild troll bashing… I don’t come here for secret Cocoa tips.

Hmm… why do I? Might just give this website a miss for a while. Things are definitely going downhill.

Not that the “McBuck laptops” don’t provide good value for the price, they compare quite well with existing Windows laptops in the same price ranges, but they don’t even TRY to compete in the Lo-Buk$ zone most Windows laptops try to flourish in.
Well, at least our LURE is actually available for sale – at the advertised price and with all the features claimed or implied. Heck, it even has a slightly buffer CPU then the base model they want you to fall in love with.
