“Apple has slated three new store openings for the end of this week… The first and most prominent of the locations will be in Montreal [Grand Opening on Friday at 5pm local time], creating the first true flagship store for Canada, and Quebec’s second store after one in Laval,” MacNN reports.
“In the United States, stores in Glendale, Arizona and Charleston, South Carolina will both open to the public at 10am local time, on Saturday, July 26th,” MacNN reports.
“The Charleston shop is South Carolina’s first [Apple Retaisl Store],” MacNN reports.
More info, including grand opening store hours and addresses, in the full article here.
But is this really iPhone news other than they’ll be selling them there?
Wow Montreal, get your baseball team back and you’ll almost be a real city again!
Go Habs Go!
I hope they open one in Savannah soon…
Way to screw Mac Media, Apple. They have been the sole (and best) Mac retailer in Glendale AZ for YEARS.
And Liverpool, Uk.
I’ll be getting me yet another AppleT-shirt at the Montréal opening, I’m suspecting. Registered for all the available workshops in following week, as well. Short story: I’ma be there. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” />
If they ever open a store in Savannah’s historic district, I’m sure the 8000 plus students at the Savannah College of Art and Design will make for very regular customers.
It’s about time we get one in South Carolina but the trips to Charlotte have been fun.
In Montreal, it’s gonna be named Le Pomme Magasin ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />
@ pasd’anglais
Actually, Apple appears to be calling it ‘la boutique Apple Store’ or simply ‘Apple Store, Sainte Catherine’. Anyways .. we need a a direct link ’cause this topic/thread doesn’t seem to have one. French pages be ok with you?
