“WWDC is drawing near, and its time for our almost traditional heap of speculation and wishful thinking, hammered into the constraints of a numbered list,” Charlie Sorrel blogs for Wired. “Of course, ninety percent of what is written below will turn out to be far from the mark or just plain wrong, but hey, if we don’t make a guess, we won’t get anything right.”
Sorrel’s list with probabilities:
1. 3G iPhone – 10/10
2. Proper New MacBook Pro – 8/10
3. Aluminum MacBook – 4/10
4. Internet Tablet – 1/10
5. Touch Screen Nano 5/10

“4. Internet Tablet
no no no no no, what the hell do you think an ipod touch is? DUH, whats the point in making it too big for the pocket, but otherwise the same?”
because many people will buy a larger version of the touch if it is sold as an internet device.
a 7 inch touch that does google docs, saves to .Mac or google, is a remote for your AppleTV…… many people wouldn’t need a laptop if that was an option. especially if you could save docs right on the device and sync them latter.
my wife wouldn’t need an ibook if they made that. how many others would see it that way?
Since this is a developers conference, I predict:
1) Updated Mac Pro (maybe)
2) iPhone 2.0 (definitely)
3) iPhone software 2.0 (definitely)
4) iPhone SDK released (definitely)
5) Updated .Mac suite with cool hooks into iPhone SDK, etc. (maybe)
I don’t expect to see the new MacBook Pros until the 2009 MacWorld Expo. Oh, sure, they might give the current line a speed-bump or some other neat feature, but the fully reconfigured new MacBook Pro, with touch screen etc. … no … not until Jan 09, if then.
Dare I say it……….
Remember that this is not January, its for developers…… oh, can’t help my self:
“Developers, Developers, Developers, Developers!!!!
“Developers, Developers, Developers, Developers!!!!
“Developers, Developers, Developers, Developers!!!!”
OK, I think I am better now.

Prediction? Nothing will be announced.
Just live feed of a MSFT shareholder lynch mob, storming the Redmond campus and stake-burning Ballmer’s fat ass.
I know this guy who’s friend has a sister who’s dating an analyst that works on the same floor as the people that wash the windows at a company that deals closely with Apple, so I know the following are definitely going to be released at the WWDC:
warp drive
the lightsaber
the flux capacitor
the Eludium PU36 explosive space modulator
instant girl pills (just add water)
These are all true. Swear to God!
How can there possibly be a prediction with a probability of 10/10? That doesn’t even make sense…
dip in stock price post announcements
10/10

I’m tired of hiring about the iPhone, it’s a great phone but Apple needs to move on to something else but keep a team working on the iPhone making it better but the one thing Apple is lagging on is their Cinema Displays, The Cinema Displays hasn’t been updated sense it’s release 4 years ago that’s all I basically want to see at WWDC 2008.
1. Mac Midi
2. iTunes Pro – a professional lossless version of iTunes, whereby radio stations can subscribe to new releases and without having to keep large libraries of ‘hard’ copies of singles/albums. Also available to record stores, whereby the customer can browse albums in their totality (not just a segment) online in lossless format – and then buy a freshly manufactured album – or compilation on the spot. By this method, record stores could carry a vastly larger range of albums than would otherwise be the case (in particular, by less well known artists and genres).
My Mac can go all the way to XI.
1 3G iPhone (obviously).
2 New updated Mac Mini that catches up to the MacBook on CPU/GPU. Probably a ‘silent’ upgrade.
3 Updated Apple TV with an Atom replacing the Pentium D and other goodness (think Bluetooth).
iMort – “nano-nano.”
One more thing: Third party bid for Presidency by Steve.
