MacBlogz.com launches

MacBlogz.com recently launched to offer readers a base from which to efficiently find the latest, up-to-the-minute Apple- and tech-related headlines.

The MacBlogz Team tells us that the concept for MacBlogz arose roughly 3 months ago during a routine workday at Think Brilliant Media Studios. They were tired of opening up 8 or 10 new browser windows at a time to get up to date with the latest news, and no RSS feeders really do their job correctly. So, they decided to develop their own solution. After a few weeks of planning and organization, development began

For the initial launch version, MacBlogz used WordPress as the back-end CMS and blogging platform. Six weeks later, The MacBlogz Team are pleased to unveil MacBlogz.com to share with the community.

MacBlogz is here.

  1. competition for MacDailyNews?

anyways, on macblogz they show two stories from each site… how do we see the other stories from each site? doesn’t seem to be any active links to the mac sites. or am i missing something here?

  2. They had trouble with RSS feeds?

My RSS in Safari are down to a fine art; one single ‘’ character on the toolbar brings up the RSS feeds from 15 Mac related sites, newest first. Sublime when technology just works for you.

    Thanks Apple.

  3. “Keeping tabs on the Rumor Mill”? And there, on the opening screen, is MDN?
OK, speed and snarkiness aside, MDN has done a pretty good job of reporting mostly NEWS, and marking the Rumors for what they are. Sure, they have failed to create a separate-and-unequal ghetto for hit-trolling “analysts”, but none of us are perfect. Besides, the analysts CLAIM they are reporting “news”, right? THEY are the liars.
I’ve added the bookmark, the site is well designed and makes surfing the rumors easier. But, most are just that – rumors. Interesting, perhaps, suggestive, perhaps, but often wild figments of someone’s imagination.

  4. Actually Klapka- After trolling the site, I realized you in fact can access each individual site via Macblogz.com. Therefore it isn’t at all in competition with sites such as this (macdailynews.com) as it will result in bringing and sharing traffic from other site’s enthusiasts.
I will for sure give this new site the shot is deserves…in hopes of avoiding long loading times and multiple windows to get the news I crave.
