it made my plugins snappier !!!! ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” />
Actually, it made my plugins snap in half. 🙁
I downloaded PluginManager but can not install it, all my hard drives say “can not install and do not need this update”. Do I need to discard old plug in first? I have had problems with my MBox 2- by Digidesign and Garage Band and Soundtrack Pro neither working. They never finish opening and say midi core server problems since 10.5 upgrade. Any information? Chris
Upgraded via Software Update with no problem. Using FCE
I’m using Aperture 2 and updated via Software Update with no problems. Then again, in over three years of using Software update, I have never had the slightest problem whatsoever.
Hey!!! By default, software update installed Internet Explorer 7 on my Mac along with the FCP update. WTF??
@Chris Dunn
Digidesign has not yet released Leopard compatible updates. ProToolsHD7.4 is the only version updated so far.
You’ll need to reinstall Tiger for Digidesign stuff to function.
D.
reg.. pro tools.
its incredible how long it takes digidesign.. jezus!!
Has anyone figured out what this update actually does? Of the Apple Pro apps, I only have Aperture 2, and frankly they don’t have many available plug-ins. I only have a third party Flickr export tool installed, which has always worked fine. I’m hoping this is the dawn of a new era, that maybe Apple is soliciting plug-ins and this will be a tool to manage them all (e.g., during major updates, you can monitor or disable them if they cause problems). But that’s just speculation. Anyone know?
