Macgamestore releases Escape The Museum

Macgamestore and Gogii Games have teamed up to announce the release of “Escape The Museum,” a new puzzle/hidden object game from the creators of “Hidden Secrets: The Nightmare.”

It’s a warm day in the city and Susan Anderson has brought her daughter Caitlin to work for the day at the National Museum of History. What began as an exciting day for Caitlin and Susan ends in devastating suspense when, just after closing, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake rocks the city. After getting Caitlin to safety, Susan scours the museum for anyone left behind but is knocked unconscious by falling debris.

When Susan awakes she finds the museum left in shambles. Barely able to move from room to room, you must help Susan navigate and work her way through the maze of the museum in a series of puzzles and frantic searching. Can you help Susan get back to Caitlin and escape the museum together?

Features:
• Incredible adventure to solve

  1. Did anyone actually download and run this app on Leopard? I can’t launch it on Mac OS X 10.5.2 on PPC.

I get an alert panel saying:

    “Missing Shockwave Decompression XTRA”

    followed by:

    “Director Player Error”
    “Error playing Director movie.”

    and then followed by:

    “Director Player Error”
    “Unable to load movie:Macintosh HD:Applications:LocalApps:Escape The Museum.app:Contents:Resources:.Game:Museum”

Then I get a window thanking me for playing the game and asks me to buy it!!

What gives? Didn’t anyone test this app before releasing it?
