my cards are snappier?
Wow… My slideshows are snappier!
For a company that makes great software, they sure have a lot of updates.
Full screen persistence when used with Spaces would be nice Apple! And add it to iTunes too while you’re at it.
Jaygee,
Frequent updates is actually better IMHO.
Software is NEVER finished. If not for bug-fixes, how else can you introduce new features?
So long as they make the upgrade process transparent (doesn’t break anything), keep ’em coming!!!
I’m fine with frequent updates.
As long as they occasionally throw in new features then there’s actually added value to them.
I look forward to weekly added functionality.
It’s not really that Apple is releasing so many updates, or that Microsoft is, it’s just that Apple’s updates are worth something and add value, whereas Microsoft’s updates are just trying to plug all the holes and fix all the crashes so their products can actually be used.
Apple keeps pumping out good stuff to all Mac users and we’re only 2 months into 2008.
What has Microsoft have been doing for its users? Hmmmm *crickets* hmmmm
Jaygee, that’s the best part, you get frequent cool updates to make your software even better. How would you like it if your car manufacturer keep sending you stuff to make your car faster and better? I bet Windows people look forward to their virus updates almost as much. Isn’t that correct, Zune?
Apple keeps updating iLife because…
…it keeps your attention on them and it allows them to bloat your machine to produce hardware turnover.
After all, how much can one improve a photo storing app anyway?
If you need something with more ability you buy Photoshop, Lightroom or Aperture. Right?
Bloat up now!!
My bloat is now snappier. So who cares about bloat?
I’m happy to bloat. iLife is still running ok on our MDD 867 DP. Not that it doesn’t run better on our macbook pro, but hey, the G4 is 7 or 8 years old, and several processors behind and all.
good. now please spend some time on iMovie and try to fix some of it’s bugs as well. DV video quality as first priority please.
