  1. Cool but the most neaningful update to come this year, is the one that will make it fully compatible with the upcoming Mac Touch Tablet or whatever you wanna call it… anyway, somekind of iPod Touch, larger display, web browsing on the go, e-book, document, music, movies, video… no laptop, no PDA has ever been there.

  2. Did I tell you that I could also max out – as in bring to a dead standstill – my McPro with any of the iWork or iLife apps? To say nothing about something really powerful such as Final Cut Pro (or even Express).

Anytime a company’s software product can overwhelm the same company’s best hardware, it’s time for a hardware update. When are we going to get ours?

Um, first Apple released new Mac Pros on Jan 8.

Second, if these apps are bringing your Mac Pro to a standstill, you need to troubleshoot your computer. Check Activity Monitor to see what processes are taking up that much CPU time.

Hum, I’m running iWork on a iMac 1 GHZ with 1 GB RAM, not fast but not slow. Oh, also running iWork 08 on a iBook clamshell 466 with less than a 1/2 GB of RAM, iWork performs reasonably well. Yes I’m running OS X 10.4.11 and MS office 2004 on the iBook as well.

You might want to check your system.
