KavaSoft today released KavaTunes, the web jukebox for iTunes. KavaTunes makes websites that look and work like iTunes, so you can browse, search and play your music from any web browser. KavaTunes features continuous playback, so you can queue up an album or playlist and listen to one song after another.
KavaTunes can add album artwork to your music library, and includes artwork in the catalog. KavaTunes can also create web catalogs that look and work like an iPod. Visitors can browse and play your music using the familiar iPod clickwheel interface.
Your web catalog is a great way to introduce everyone to your favorite music. Your personalized home page shows your most played artists, recently added albums, recently played songs, and top rated albums. Visitors can then click on the music they like, listen to it online, and buy it directly from the iTunes Store.
You can try all the features of KavaTunes on part of your library for free. The full version of KavaTunes costs US$35, and can be purchased using PayPal or Kagi.
KavaSoft also announced KavaServices and released new versions of Shoebox, iConquer, HyperImage and Curator.

is it the legal?
Why bother? Just get iTunes.
@silverwarloc: i don’t think you’re getting what this software does….
I purchased this software. It works well, you can not publish your streaming music server to a .mac account because .mac does not support PHP, which is the technology behind this app. It does however offer to set you up with hosting, or you can use the web space that you get from having an account with your ISP, the only problem there is that the standard account does not come with much space, not enough to host even a modest library.

Uh huh, but why would you want to do that?
This sounds like Anywhere.fm, except Anywhere.fm is totally free.
Why would I want to do this? So I can direct my friends to iTunes??? <sarcasm>I’m sure that’ll get me a BIG thank-you </sarcasm>!!
