Apple today released iPhoto 7.0.1 which addresses issues associated with publishing photos from an upgraded library to .Mac Web Gallery.
iPhoto 7.0.1 is available via Software Update and also as a standalone installer.
More info and download link (8.8MB) here.
Great, an update before anyone gets the program (well, at least those of us two light years from an Apple Store)
Am I missing something? This upgrade is for iPhone 6 or do you have to have iLife ’08 in order to install this?
I tried to install it and it did not work. It told me that it could not find any iPhoto application to install the update…
iPhoto 7.0.1?? How? I’ve got iPhoto 6.0.6. How do I upgrade to 7.0??
@paupus:
Buy iLife ’07
paupas,
buy ilife 07, and you will have iphoto 7.0
Just checked my PPC mini, no new iphoto in software update
@coop
iLife ’07??? That software is even more elusive than the iPhoto Update.
There is no iLife ’07. This is an update to iPhoto ’08 (released to day ~11:30AM). Obviously this fixes things discovered between the time the software was pressed and now.
This will NOT show up as part of software update unless you have managed to install iLife ’08.
anyone got the torrent yet ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
Just called my Apple store – they said they have iWork in stock but don’t know when they’ll have iLife.
Haha, if Microsoft pulled something like this, MDN would be all over them and you’d never hear the end of it. Apple does it and MDN posts a tiny blurb about it without any commentary at all.
I love it, lol!
Hypocrisy,
What in the hell are you talking about?!?!? Apple releases iLife 08 today and before anyone can get their hands on it, they release an update for it. There is something wrong with this? It would take Microsucks probably a year to get out that first update.
Sorry, Hypocrisy, but I don’t see your point. Or, did you not have one?
Well,
seems like a little remedial instruction in basic reading (or arithmetic?) is needed by some posters like Hypocrisy. Apple have released the update 7.0.1 to iPhoto 7, not an update tot he new iPhoto 8.
Now your question about commenting on Apple updating current products v. a product is something all vendors do. Even Microsloth.
The only hypocrisy here is your unabashed trolling.
MW: “cent,” As in my 2 worth…
Hm.. you must be doing the new math! Though I must admit the cool .mac stuff should have been available in the old iPhoto 6, perhaps that’s why everyone is screwing up the versions ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />
The update could be used right away since MacWorld already had their Web Gallery up yesterday. Very slick.
