No, not Rome, New York.* The real Rome!
The first Apple Retail Store in continental Europe will open it’s doors a month later than the scheduled opening of the Roma-Est shopping center where it’s hosted, Macity reports.
Macity reports that work on major road construction leading to the shopping center is running late and won’t be ready the second half of March. Currently, there’s no way for the expected traffic to reach the shopping center from the highway that connects Roma-Est to Roma.”

*You Rome, New Yorkers need to head west to Syracuse (45 mins.) or east to Albany (1 hour 45 mins.)
Andiamo l’Italiani!
Ora noi siamo tutti Mac-addictos!
Saluti amici.

Whew. I thought they meant Rome, Georgia.
The conquest of the Continent has begun
Nice, just in time for my honeymoon!
Just trying to help stem the slow but sure brain-to-pen rot infecting American English
“. . . it’s doors” (above) should read “. . . its doors.” “It’s” = “It is.”
Great news. Now we are waiting for Paris, Madrid, Milan, Marseille, Bordeaux, Berlin, Bonn, Vienna. It is about time for Apple to open stores in Europe. With the presence there the market share for Apple will explode in Europe and will accelerate the process of replacing MS as a dominant OS.
More people in Europe than US, high computer ownership and internet use in Europe….and not one Apple store on continental Europe.
Shame, shame, shame.
And Germany with its 89 million people, high income…there are no,none, zilch, zero, keine, null Apple stores.
Apple marketing in Europe has been and continues to be a joke.
Italians love Macs. 3 Italians working upstairs in my building all have Macs at work by choice.
Shoot. I was hoping it was Rome, NY. Let’s hope they open a store in Mexico or Phoenix – both in NY.
Peace.
Doctor X,
Please learn to write a complete sentence with correct punctuation before launching an attack against the collective writing abilities of an entire country. Yes, you are a loser…
I feel a cell phone joke coming on…
I want to hear about an Apple Store in Ottawa
(pssst not Ottawa, Kansas or Ottawa, Illinois or Ottawa, Ohio, or Ottawa, WV or Ottawa, South Africa)
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada!
Toronto has 3 (Yorkdale, Eaton Center and Sherway Gardens) and Montreal has a store in Laval.
Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver all deserver stores too.
Magic Word thus….
Thus spoke Zarathrusta
Whether or not Doctor X is a loser is beside the point. 9 out of 10 people in this county (yes, I’m an American born in Hutchinson, Kansas) cannot differentiate between “it’s” and “its.” THAT is a fact, so relax, DXD! No offense was meant.
Construction delays in Italy? Say it isn’t so!
To “Hanz und Franz”: I live in The Hague, The Netherlands – there’s an Apple Store here, as well as an independent Apple dealer.

HEY MDN…
SOME of us are FROM Rome, NY…and STILL LIVE THERE.
We are real Romans!!
“…now we are waiting for Paris, Madrid, Milan, Marseille, Bordeaux, Berlin, Bonn, Vienna…”
Bonn?! You’re kidding, right? I’d say Cologne and Munich would be the greatest places to have an Apple Store in Germany – plus Berlin of course.
