  1. You’ve got to be kidding me. You really think that Iran won’t give terrorists nuke technology? It’s not if it’s when. You think the US economy is in bad shape? You have some serious mental problems. There is really something very wrong with you or your acting like an idiot on purpose.

  2. Iran WOULD aid and abet terrorists, but the technology they posess now is not the same grade.

And, as I stated before, that is why we should NOT HAVE HAD THE CIA FUCKING AROUND IN IRANIAN AFFAIRS, JUST BECAUSE GREAT BRITAIN DIDN’T WANT TO CEDE PRIVITIZATION RIGHTS TO A SOVEREIGN ENTITY (1951), losing control of oil rights.

(It helps to know what you are talking about).

And just who are you, “not less is more”?
One of those chicken-shits who can’t even post your real name, EVEN THOUGH ON A CHAT BOARD YOU HAVE COMPLETE ANONYMITY, ANYWAY?

    Get a spine.

  3. Jerry T,

South Africa had a high crime and poverty rate under white rule as well; in fact it was actually higher under Apartheid, once you factor in the politically motivated killings committed by the white minority government. South Africa has prospered quite nicely under black majority rule.

Are you pulling your facts out of your racist a**? Sure looks like it.

  4. Jerry T,

very few left wingers consider CNN or BBC to be right-leaning; those who do have never really payed attention to either. FOX News, on the other hand, is so obviously right-wing biased it’s pathetic. It’s so totally hilarious that the news channel of choice for the American Right is owned by an Aussie.

On what do you base your certainty that a government would give a nuke* to a terrorist? All the campaign of fear must’ve really taken hold of your feeble mind, eh? What’s to stop any of the other nuclear nations from doing the same then, by your logic? Geeze…I’d like to take a look at your bomb shelter!

Now here’s where it gets hilarious: The main reason to have nukes is to prevent somebody else from nuking you, because if they’re considering nuking you, you’d like them to think that you can nuke them back. And you would never use your nukes first for the same reason. If you nuke them [or give your nuke to a nuking agent to do the nuking for you], then you are inviting the nuked party to nuke you back! Another reason you’d want to have nukes is to suggest that anyone trying to claim a slice of your territory by conventional warfare had better have nukes because you do – and who knows – if they’re too successful….

The only time nukes were ever used in anger [well, more as a demonstration of power because Japan had been practically firebombed to ashes by then], was when there was no possibility of getting nuked in return.

If I recall correctly, Iranians spontaneously took to the streets in sympathy for the US about the 911 incident. That was, of course, well before the Abu Ghrahib scandal became public – who knows now. As for the various types of nerve gas used in the Iraq-Iran war, you should consider who helped Iraq develop such weapons in the first place. The Chemical Weapons Convention (http://www.opcw.org) bans the use of riot control agents as means of warfare. Guess who wants to violate that treaty.

There is, by the way, one country in the Middle East with nukes, and I don’t see anyone panicking. Two, if you count the U.S. as “guests.” Sure, it would be unfortunate if Iran developed nukes, but what could you do about it?

    *nuke = nuclear weapon

  6. Neo cons are confused. They think of themselves as “conservative”, but they don’t even know what that means.

    And then there’s the mentality.
Just look at that post by Bob V.

Bob, isn’t it a little early to be swilling beer in your wood-paneled basement, with your hunting cap’s chin-strap hanging down?

  7. Jerry T,

Rupert Murdoch isn’t a US citizen. You knew that, right? Please say you did, otherwise you’d look like an idiot as well as well as a racist…

As to your comments on South Africa:

your question was “What industrialized nation has more blacks than the US?”, NOT “which industrialized western “non black” nation has more blacks than the US?”

If you can’t form your questions properly, don’t ask them in the first place.

  8. gzero,

Yes I did know that he is not a US citizen. My point is so what, and my question is why is it hilarious that some Americans get their news from an Aussie?

I get my news from all over the world, from Aljazeera to Haaretz. Again so what? Are you so stupid and racist that you can only receive news from one country?

    On S. Africa:

As I said, within the context of what I posted I thought that it would be taken for granted that I meant the US had more blacks than any other “non black” nation per capita. It’s reasonably obvious that a black nation would have more blacks.

But I will be more literal and simplistic in the future when I address you. I may be a racist but I am kind and considerate to the mentally challenged.

  9. Jerry T,

“I get my news from all over the world, from Aljazeera to Haaretz. Again so what? Are you so stupid and racist that you can only receive news from one country?”

    1. I doubt very seriously you get your news from Al Jazeera.

    2. Where I get my news has nothing to do with whether or not I’m a racist. Most US right wingers get their news from one country (the US), and one main TV channel (FOX News) or numerous right-leaning radio stations, which tends to shape their world view. I live in Germany and have ready access to all European, US, Middle-eastern and Asian news outlets via TV, radio, and print, so I proudly state that I’m probably better informed than the average US citizen, including yourself.

    3. I’m an African-American man married to a German woman and 2 beautiful mixed-race children, so I can say with a high degree of certainty that I am not a racist. Obviously you can’t say the same.

“But I will be more literal and simplistic in the future when I address you. I may be a racist but I am kind and considerate to the mentally challenged.”

I like people who are kind and considerate to their parents. Way to go!
